Head vs. Hood.... Call it a Draw

Hope you have healed well bro. That, like others have said, is the gnarliest injury I have seen here. I'm glad others have seen the light on the importance of wearing a helmet.

Thanks for all the get wells. I just have a nice scar and an itchy head that I can't itch (due to nerve damage). I did have a CAT scan at the ER after it happened... all was well, guess I am hard headed!

I went out for my first ride on my DASA/B.O.B. and it lasted about 20 minutes. My head hit the turn plate I think, 4 inch gash to dowm to my skull. My helmet was in the truck. Never again.

I'm glad you're alright. If you put Neosporin, aloe, etc on it frequently, it could help the scarring reduce massively. I have cut and burned my self pretty badly, and it's amazing what aloe can do. Just cake it on there..

I will always wear my helmet.
