so i got a bit of help from someone thats running close to the same motor i am.
he gave me 28 degrees advance and start retard at 5500 rpm. Max rpm is 8500 and the retard is 29 degrees at that limit.
Switch 3
S1-on S2-on S3-off (Retard begin speed @ 5500)
S4-on (Timing set up led operate)
S5-on S6-off S7-off S8-on (Max speed rev limit @ 8500)

Switch 2 W
S1-off S2-off S3-off S4-off (Factory settings as i wont be using it)
What were you using for max speed retard? S5-? S6-? S7-? S8-?

Switch 1
S1-off? (Max /min rev limit +4000?)
S2-off? (Retard +15?)
S3-on (electric start)
S4-on (start retard on)
S5-off(Retard begin rpm)
S6-?S7-?S8-?

I still need some help with switch 2 and switch 1.
Any advice

Did to get the MSD recommended curve? why not run that it should work great for your set-up

that manual is a little diffrent then the one i got. not that it matters. good place to start i guess.

Here's my last Dasa 4mil 895cc curve.

28* advance (static set at 30* and pulled 2* with brain)
6000 start retard
Retard rate 5*/1000 rpm
Max rpm 9000 (13*advance at max)
