Here it is. Yamaha X2.

I just got Rag's old engine lined up in my hull. Here are a few pics of the install. This baby is bolted in and aligned like it's time to rip!
I'm installing my engine tonight, and hopefully will be taking a test ride soon.

OK we got it lined up, then went head first into it.
Here it is with my 650 out of my SJ and a stock 650 pipe. I'm going to water test tomorrow, then put my factory pipe, and a 46SBN on it. Hopefully it will run good enough to keep me happy for long enough to put something nice in it.

you rock will, nice use of john's hard work
I agree. Best use I could imagine of Johns hard work. I would like to thank him personally. I would also like to thank Thong Bandit for winning it, and flipping it immediately. Also thank you for holding the freeride that allowed us to get a bed plate.
Now that I've kissed everyones ass possible, I'd to thank Matt and I. I haven't tested this yet, but I'm pretty damn sure it's going to work great. John put a lot of hard work into it, and so did I. Can't wait to try it.

nice work , ill have to keep on eye on this thread and see how it goes.
i think ill stay with kawasaki . i heard a rumor today that someone will be bringing out a billiot kawi pv cylinder up 1000cc next year . they are testing them at the moment

That would be killer man!
I just didn't have the cash to rebuild the 780 right now, and I DID have a 650 SJ in the driveway. Plus, I just really wanted a yamaha driveline. Hopefully it will work out for me.

It fits in mine, but you cannot remove the headpipe without taking the motor out....its that close. Headpipe must be installed when you slide the motor back onto the mounts.
