And a drop in spare with an MSD Enhancer, just in case.

Finished the pole, cables, etc. Came out well, used Kwai snorkel tubes and decided to tuck them up. Front latch just clears the spring.. whew

Hope to regrow new fingers tomorrow

Made a ride plate too, for the hell of it I guess since nothing is wrong with the old one. Not perfect, but pretty good.

Will cut it out to fit the pump, but too much shim without the hole.

Tried my hand at building an e-box w/Zeel from all new parts (except the used but re-built stator from JM).

Tucking the programming cable in, don’t see me using it often. Grounding bullets in fuse tube.

So e-box is buttoned up and now I’m second guessing the solenoid wiring.

Does it matter which side of the solenoid gets the battery cable and which side the starter?

Only if you want the Starter to run all the time :D

Actually, doesn't matter as the Relay Switch (2 small Wires) is what makes the two Posts connect.

Good to know, thanks for the feedback!

I presumed since it wasn’t marked, but forgot to verify before buttoning it up.

A bit of progress this weekend in between family stuff. Electrical complete, bilge complete. I did have to move the ebox over to clear the head pipe.

Getting close… have to fit-up exhaust, FFH, and the tray turf.

l used to dread turfing the freaks. Such a pain in the azz

Can’t say I ever look forward to any turf job, but at least this one is only tray and front bulkhead. Foam almost done, used 25mm, 26mm a slice of turf between layers in the footholds, and some 10mm. shave and sand party tonight.

More progress today, motor in, carbon exhaust pipe and tube in. The carbs hit the tube, so going to use an external pump.

Turf done, came out ok. For some reason I always seem to trim something a bit short. Was a bit tricky fitting the FFH with the ebox bracket right where it wanted to be. Nice to have my plush tool tray back

Working on a fuel pump bracket to be able to mount it, Then it should be ready to start/test.

Wrists sore, forgot how tight it is with a B-Pipe.

Very presentable superfreak. Top notch work amigo.

Won’t consider just running a hose to avoid external pumps or too much risk of chafing?

Thank you.

The tube is a few mm’s smaller in diameter, so it would have been a hard interference. I’m sure it would work, but I like the tube. I’ll figure out something trick for the pump.

I have a 735 with the wax exhaust hose and dual 44s and have lots of room between the carbs and exhaust hose on mine. Must be the intake manifold you're running as mine is a stock 64x

Yes, I’m running a php intake with a vforce reed cage. It would be fine with a stock manifold/reeds.

I too have rubbed holes in silicone exhaust hoses in the past, it’s just a matter of time with contact.

Check your nipples

Still working on the external pump set-up. Instead of combining two 5mm ID lines into one larger 6mm ID line to match up with the external fuel pump inlet, I decided to change out the nipples in my new RRP tank to 5/16” from 1/4”. Though they look bigger, the internal diameter of the npt nipples are exactly the same.

The largest in the picture is a 3/8” nipple and it’s ID is 6.5mm.
