I say give the guy a chance . Typically guys that start producing specialty items like this are creative enthusiast not business minded . I applaud his attempt at producing a budget hull. Admittedly more testing / R+D should be done before you go to market in order to avoid " Bad press". Having said that , everyone who has bought a AM hull no matter who made it should know " Caveat emptor " buyer beware . Very few hulls have withstood the test of time . Is it realistic to expect a light 60 pound hull for 2,000 or 10,000 to take the abuse, stress and neglect that some you guys are capable of dishing out ? I say not .
This is unsolicited advise I would give any body in business .
1. Under promise and over deliver
2. ALways Always Always be honest . People will work with you if you speak truth and communicate. Ex. if you don't have a hood say I don't have a hood. If there are no complete running boats other than a proto type say , We only have one proto type hull in service .
My 2 cents
