i dont have a camera right now but i will take pics of the chin pads they sent us! it is a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 piece of mat with some resin in the middle that kind of looks like a chin pad. I guess they wanted us to add more resin then cut out the part, sand it smooth on the bottom then turf it. I wish someone else would make these hulls, someone that actually takes pride in thier work. then more ppl would buy them. As for me I will never buy :):):):) from "you gotta be high as phuc roller" or goose again and if one of you two are reading this, TAKE SOME PRIDE IN YOURSELF AND YOUR WORK!!!

Wasn't this for the "Goose" pole and not the "highroller" pole? Just saying... I know these guys worked together for a while so it's easy to throw them in the same boat. I can't confirm or deny who built it but if there was doubt, I wouldn't want to be sh*t on because of something my friend did.

I have ridden one of Dan's older model hulls. (King Nothing's) It was FUN to ride...light and small, but still stuck to the water when laid down. I also watched King beat the crap out of it for a couple days...and it held up. It was small for my tastes...(I ride an aftermarket lightweight trinity sxr)

Don't know much about the new hull....Just my opinion.

btw....I heard some rave reviews about the Matrix down in Daytona.

awww - you deleted it.

here - read this again:

The hull is poor quality but it's dirt cheap. buyers better now how to work with composites or it's going to fail miserably. I doesn't matter if goose laid it up or dan laid it up, it's a low quality mold. It's the best deal going if u can make, inserts, bulkheads and hoods. Someone needs to post Pics of bulkhead and engine mounting plates. It's all in line for the price of the hull but it's the cheesiest thing I've seen. It's a great idea and platform for a hull, and if u have the skills u can make a light acrobatic hull for reasonable money. However it's an extreme amount of work. Goose laid up chads hull just fine, it just looked rough because the molds look like a beaver chewed on them. Goose always said dan owed the hood dan said goose owed the hood. Hood never came ( which after seeing pics was no great loss). So someone got out of sending me a hood I payed for.

Would I buy another one? Hell no!

And remember all of this is my opinion.

i think the name of this thread should be changed! to goose!!! i have a hull on the way an dan has answered all my dumb questions while he was on vaction in a very speedy manner!
i have some BLOWSION composites an they sucked! i had to fix it! so why should i pay for a high money part an do the finish work too?

Since you posted this in a thread about Highroller Customs people are going to assume you got it from me. So I wanted to post and tell everyone that it did not come from me or have anything to do with me.

That's all.

Bash on Everyone... :)

I meant keep bashing me. There is no need to switch attention to Goose, he has nothing to do with this thread. This is a Highroller Customs Bash thread.

so what about it makes you think its going to fail miserably? and ive got my hood, and it is very nice.

Chips, the fact that the motor plates are screwed to the hull with three bolts from the bottom side of the hull are a big concern. It wouldnt hurt to glue or glass those in. The bulkhead is a big concern too, hulls flex when you beat on them, you can get by with bulkheads like that on runabouts, but id bet you'll see driveline issues with that setup if you dont make it stronger, and make sure you put foam in, an open hood vents will let in alot of water quickly. The good thing is you can make all of those things better before running it so its just a little work now. Just take the time to double check things and fix things properly and you'll have a very nice hull. All of its no big deal if you know what you are getting before hand and have the ability to improve on it. Chad is building his hull very nice and hes incorporating things we have learned over the years that help keep the ski together.

The fact that neither of the guys that promote the stunt hull want to take responsibility on my hood is just plain weak. I actually got better service from waterdawg..go figure. I did get to see the hull before I picked it up so I knew what I was getting into. The rawness of the parts wasnt unexpected, Its priced right for what it is (as long as you get a hood) Goose even stayed up late laying mine up so I could take it home next day saving me shipping money. I enjoyed talking to goose and did alot of brainstorming with him on ideas for hulls.

All of this would have been a great deal.......except no hood!

Chad PMed me and I told him I would be glad to make him a hood (I told Bill I would once I received the mold, For this was a deal he did with Tom) when I received the new mold. When time I received the hood mold Chad had already made his own hood design (which looks great). Chad if you wants a spare hood just let me know...

actually you replied to him that you needed to check with goose to see if the hoods been payed for. But I appreciate your prompt resolution. Tom

and...the hood is owed to me. I gave chad one of my hoods

Tom, I pmed Chad back and said I would send it once I received the mold. Chad told me that he bought the hull from you (which you bought from Bill) which included the hood (that bill still had to make) so I wasn't aware that I was supposed to send you a Stunt hood. Chad told me it was owed to him now, not you. (I told Bill it was no problem to make you a hood when he asked me too) If you guys still want a hood just tell me you still want a hood and I'll make one. If you have no intention of running my hood since you have your own but you want me to make one so you can criticize me please don't waste my time.

I'm not trying to be a dick. I like to try and make everyone happy which is very tough in this industry. So if you actually want my hood I'd be more then happy to make you one.

This is hopefully my last post in this thread. Tom please PM me what you want to do, seriously I'd be more then happy to do whatever it takes to make you happy. As for everyone else you can continue bashing (I hopefully wont have the urge to read anymore of this drama) but if you want an actual response from me, I check my e-mail everyday and I'm always quick to respond. I'd be happy to answer any questions, just send an e-mail.

Thanks guys,

yea its pretty lady like to bash someone on the internet instead of calling them and trying to work a resolution. well handled Dan.

We are at the one year mark, how well handled is that? You don't think I've made any contact before posting this? Id like anyone to point out anything Ive said on this matter that's untrue.
I dont even want the hood anymore,If chad wants an extra, he can have my hood. I sold the ski, and it was sold to chad with my guarantee it would get a hood. Since the hood never made it to me to give to chad, he built one out of a hood I gave him, that hood came out of my parts stock. I held up my end of the deal to Chad ( although he ended up putting in a crazy amount of time in on it.)

But I can tell you its very admiral and good business like to want to take care of it now a year later when its brought to public light.

If I pay for a part and it never comes a full year later am I wrong to post my experience and opinions?

Once again I did NOT sell you a hull Tom. You hired Bill to build you a hull, I let him borrow my molds as a favor. You had absolutely no contact with me what so ever for this deal you two made nor did I make a dime from the hull you bought from Bill. You know I had nothing to do with the deal you two made. You even met with Bill! The only thing I had to do with this deal is I happened to design the hull and own the molds. So how in the world can you say you were waiting a year on me to make you a hood? Why don't you give Bill a call and leave me out of it.

Chad PMed me in October or November and asked me to make him a hood. You never Pmed me about a hood Tom until after Chad. I agreed to make him a hood once I received the mold from Bill which everyone knows I got in December.

Very simple: Money left Toms hand but hood did not return to Toms hands. I couldnt give a rats azz about what ever deal you and bill have on these hulls, I just wanted the part. I see you guys as business partners,if you are not, maybe you should let people know. I was always told you had the hood mold, hood would come from you. You offered and told chad you would build him a hood, but never delivered. You saw Chad build a hood then felt the problem fixed itself. If you had nothing to do with it, why where you going to build Chad a hood? I've talked to Bill many many times and he said you were building the hood.

This is pointless now, I posted because it has been a thorn in my side for a year now and I felt taken advantage of. Now I have to defend myself because I didnt get a part for whatever reason.

What is the difference between a 2 Part Epoxy Glue Gun and a Composite Ride Plate and a Missing Highroller Stunt Hull Hood ?

They all involve Bill (Goose) and unlike the Hood, the Gun and Plate showed up over a year later.
