Highroller Team Bill pole

for 450$ and all that is included, bars, plate, pole, bracket. i would not expect the thing to come polished or carbon wrapped at all
your already gettting a damn good setup, so when you get this pole if you dont like the welds, why not clean them up, or if its not polished, why not polish it yourself. or even if its not carbon wrapped be creative and wrap the thing in carbon.
This pole i see as a pole for someone to take and clean up and put in a little elbow grease

but if you dont give a :):):):) what it looks like then run it.
these pole come tapped for your chinpad too!

i remember having to line up my pad and tap those bolts on my xmw pole
i think with bills pole all the hard work is done for you

Good Luck BILL, you'll be alright

Like Spock says "Crude but effective Captain"...

Like Bill says "it is what it is"...

Exactly.. It is what it is. Its not flashy, or high tech. Its a simple pole made out of some readily available basic alum stock.
I'm sure they hold up fine and the price is ok too. Its not a blatant knock either... So good job Bill.

One question: I understand the that cables go through the pipes then come out the oval holes in the bottom, but what do you do for the hole in the bracket and hull? I see no hole cut in the bracket, so I was wondering...

EDIT: Another thing, all this BS going on in this thread has brought you lots of publicity for you new pole too!!

if your worried about the look of the pole file down the welds alittle, go buy some primer and paint I am painting my pole black with an orange turfed pad. If you don't like the rubber around the holes that the cables go through then go buy some black or whatever color car door trim from auto zone (the stuff that goes on the edge of the door) and glue it around the hole.

If you want a pole that is all done and ready to mount then go spend 1000 bucks and another few hundred on the plate, bars, chin pad, bushings... If you don't like to to work on stuff for your ski go buy a couch because you are in the wrong sport!!!!!!:twak:

I love the idea of this pole. If you have issues with the looks, I think you could pretty it up with some vinyl. A real carbon wrap would add weight, add $$ and come out looking like ass, if a hacker like me tried it. I'd grab some carbon looking vinyl and throw that on. :27:

the bracket is also cut in the back around the hole so that the rubber grommet goin thrue doesnt hold the bracket from sitting flat

Got my goose pole today. I am not going to lie It is in raw form when you get it, but I busted out the file and rounded some of the edges off. then with abaout 5 minutes of rubbing with mother mag aluminum polish it got half of the pole to look pretty amazing. I just did this to show everybody what the pole could look like if you polished it. I am going to paint mine black. The pole is very good quality. I did sand and file some of the welds to smooth them out alittle, but this pole is great the weight on the shipping box was 6.28pounds. that was for the pole, steer plate, bars, chinpad and bolts + THE BOX AND TAPE. For the price i would sand and polish that thing for 5 hours, but i only did it for 5 minutes and it looks great. The only thing I don't like is where the cables come through the bottom of the pole. The guard around the edges needs to be changed. I will post up what I end up changing it to. i was thinking i might tape it off and put some of that rubber tool dip around the edges or maybe soem of the car door trim that goes on the edge of car doors, i might glue some of that around the edges. other than that I say the pole is worth every penny! Good job goose!

i polished the left side! i didn't use any effort just rubbed the mothers on and buffed it off with a towel. it took 5 minutes now it alomst looks like chrome.

it amazes me how people are these days... your comparing this pole to another pole such as a RRP. thats like comparing dodge to chevy.. if you like the looks of a RRP pole GET IT! If you dont like the goose pole why do you have to bitch about it? move on and get what you want. Bill puts alot of time in on these poles and is doing it for next to nothing to help other riders out so they dont have to spend $1000-$1200 on a complete pole setup... come on people.. go out and price a pole , mounting bracket, turn plate , bars and a pad.... you wont even touch just the pole for $450. Then i see other people i wont mention names that want to bitch about small things like where the wires go in " oh thats a hack job" you have some nerve... if your so good at building poles why dont you do it?

anyway. there will be alot of boats at daytona running this pole. If your curious to see what it looks like come find me at daytona... orange superjet with a carbon fiber hood and a goose pole ...

DAYTONAS AROUND THE CORNER!!! BRRAAAAAAAAAPPPP

nicely put troublemaker! seems to me every one i have talked to, who has purchased, seen, or rode with the pole is impressed with it.

tbaer- thats what was needed, some one to polish the pole, just to show how easy it is to make it look amazing. as troublemaker said if you want to bitch about it move on.. for the people who realize that bill is here to help out the other people who dont want to spend that kind of money on a pole are obviously the people who will take the little bit of time and effort it takes to make the pole look good.

I didn't even try when polishing it I literaly wiped on some mothers polish and buffed it off with a rag until the polish was gone.
