Thanks for the tips guys, I took your advice and scrapped that poop Walmart metal, went with 1/4 in thick tube, cut to 36" total length allowing me to keep the spare tire mounted!! Also added 30"s worth of outward support, 1/8 in angle iron off the tube on the front and back of the hauler. It is, as pictures show, welded to the tube on both sides, as well as bolted on the ends. Should hold up much better, I'm not sure what else I could do!!

I appreciate all of the support thanks guys. By the way I just bought a Kawasaki jet mate yesterday with a 7:50 in it anybody know where to get parts for these things like bimini tops exedra
 
Farrell Fab hauler. Aluminum sleeved over steel, light and strong. Been beating on this hauler for 3 years now with no issues.
