I hope so, I'm super excited about the move, but terrified at the same time...
I sold everything to move!! Racecar and trailer are gone, sold my Corvette this week. Selling my suburban before I go, and I'll buy a car when I get out there. I'm leaning towards a CPO Jetta Sportwagen. They're cheap, plenty of space for riding gear, can tow a trailer and has a 2 year 24k mile warranty. I'm not bringing much out there. I'm packing up my 1 bedroom apartment and bringing my kitty cat, my Phantom, my 701 square nose/surf donor, mountain bike and a kayak.

I know I know! But with a jeep I'll still need a trailer for the ski and beach cart. I don't see how I can fit a beach cart inside a wrangler and use my hitch hauler? That's why I liked the Tacoma, hitch hauler for the ski and beach cart in the bed.... but they're soo freaking $$$!! I cant bring myself to buy something that expensive. lmao. I've never had a car payment before...i don't want to start now!! #minimalist

Ive driven rental cars past mile marker 4 without any issues. Lol. Last time there was a pretty big river crossing though. Glad i rented a truck. Where they ride year round you could roll in with a car and be fine. You can get down the whole beach at low tide

You see all kinds of cars down the beach. From Vetts to lowered rice burners with the bumpers torn off. Air your tires down and do not stop moving. Also tons of locals go down there and spend all day helping people who are stuck.

My friend works for SpaceX and was regretting not getting on the wait list earlier as they're already being delivered to SpaceX employees! Figure I can drive a little econo gas car for a year or 18 months while I'm waiting on one!
