I have the perfect solution. it sounds crazy but it works. its what i did on my ski. however your going to need a stock SN fuel filler with cap.

I pulled the pickups from the top of my tank, then i carefully bent a 90 degree angle in each of the fuel pickups (the internal part) and installed the fuel pickup fitting where the stock filler used to be on the tank. installed a hose clamp and called it done.

then i took the SN filler put it in ice cold water, then put the top of the tank in some boiling water let them sit for about 5 mins and shoved the stock filler into top pickup hole in the tank. its a tight fit but once its in....its in.....seals perfect.

so my pickup lines run out of the back of the tank (hole near the waterbox) and are hidden from sight. and I have a perfectly functional filler on the top of my tank.

Its a really clean setup and best of all you dont need to cut/seal......none of that crap

if my words dont explain it....i can post pics later

id be afraid of kinking the pickups...how far down to they reach with the bend?

just keep the bend smooth and give it a decent radius.....you'll be fine

mine reach just as far as they did in stock form......i lowered my stock line a bit (my reserve was too big)

never realized how dirty my gas tank was.......

also there are some scratches on the filler (don"t mistake them for cracks)
