Has anyone bought the templates for a Kawasaki 750? If so, drop me a message, I'm wondering how they turn out.

Thanks

Has anyone tried to make small exhaust ports to the side of the exhaust to make more area ?

I do this with my racing 2 stroke pocketbike and it will win :p

Is there any meat to grind this out ?

For those who don't know, these ports allow to make a bigger exhaust port without stressing the piston rings as bad.

( im dutch so i don't know the usa name for these kind of ports )

They sayd the same when i wanted to put them in my pocketbike but there was room :) "just a bit of room '

I also saw a 701 cylinder for sale that had a mild extra with ( wider ? ) in the middel of the exhaust port. So the stress on the rings is narrowd down while making the port wider a bit, over the 70% but not just on the whole exhaust port. Like in my picture above.

How do i explain.

A port that opens at ( for example )

70%
Then 80%
Then 70%
70%

To get more area but still maintain strengt. Just like the pic above but then with no seperate ports

Any idea's on this/ of pictures.

Greetings

Seen it a few other places too,but not on a stock cylinder. Nothing new about it,but a great idea

I know it aint new, but i wonderd of there is enough meat on a SJ stock cilinder to make these. On all my other projects they are woth te tuning !

Nobody have done this, on a stock SJ ?

Racelogic is dead and gone so I am offering up my SportPort templates.

Here you go! Any one needing a SportPort template for Yamaha 701 SuperStock FreeStyle. Scanned to scale so print with scale to 100% on a 8.5x11. No instructions. Remember you also have to rework the transferports also.

And read this thread from beginning to end!

Today I just did the port and polish of my exhaust ports and am wondering if it looks like I did a ok job? Still need to cut the bottom of the cylinder off as shown here with the other template, is this actually how much I need to cut off?IMG_3359.JPG IMG_3344.JPG IMG_3346.JPG IMG_3347.JPG IMG_3348.JPG
