Im putting a yamaha 701 in a 550sx. Any advise on pump setup? I need to make a decent guess on prop before i buy one.. Ill be using the stock pump for now, il modify to pump to accommodate a 650 pump one day...

Im gonna run stock if it fits. If not ill throw a nynja c4 on it. I dont think im going to nee much more power that the 701 already offers stock. Its a huge horsepower gain from a 550.
Okay, maybe I'm crazy but if the stock pipe barely fits how are you going to get that monstrous C4 to fit?
+1 if you fit the C4 WITHOUT a blister in the hull mad props!

Meh, I havnt really tried yet but the c4 chamber hangs over the flywheel cover so I figure ill have more room forward that side to side. We will see! Im going to start a build tread for the 550 soon and update the blaster build thread.
Well I felt a little froggy over the weekend and decided I probably should test this thing a little before I paint it. I figured if I wanted to change something nows the time!
So I threw it together real quick for a test ride...... holy shat I haven't rode a standup in over a year and it sure shows.
I just used an old round body bn38 until I can get my hands on a spacer for the sbn44

I've been using cab-o-sil and resin instead of Bondo as a body filler. Figured what would stick better to epoxy than epoxy?
