I don't know but I hope so Stan!!! I also hope this opens peoples eyes to jetskiing more. It is neat to so a major motion picture based of the sport of stand-up jetskiing

I've talked to Larry a few times about this film. Rumor has it they are filming a bit at WF this year, then heading to Thailand to shoot most of it. Nothing has been confirmed, just rumors in the film industry at this point. I believe he's been in touch with Ross about doing something in it.

as much as I would like it to do well, I highly doubt people will all of sudden give two sh*ts about jet skiing... It seems this basic storyline has been told before in about 1000 other movies too..

Like I said, I do wish it does well though...

i love the race buoy in the break zone of a 30 footer

2002 I think, we raced in Ft Walton that head high waves at the second sand bar, they were not curlers like that on but something to deal with. Especially when the bouy is on the other side of the wave and you cannot see it!

Maybe it just sounds a little too good to be true that someone would make a movie about our sport after getting so little recognition over the years. We've been "hurt" before and we've gotten a little skeptical.
