Your original post said that you're "just getting into freestyle".
If that is true, then I doubt you've worked your 701 to it's limit.
X-scream is not far from you. When your 701 won't do what you want,,,see them.
In the surf a 701 can be plenty.
Work it til ya know what ya need!

send it to team scream and wait in anticipation

IDOK, I love you man, but the shop is now X SCREAM since we merged together 2 years ago...
Team Scream + X Metal is now X Scream Inc (except the website is under xmetalworks.com)
See here for some of the tuned out of the box plug and play engines and setups.

Like what was said earlier, get a complete package that you can afford to build.
Our 10mm stroker with our special made Ultra-pro Wiseco 91mm pistons will get you to 1014cc, or @ 90mm 992cc engine. We have and can make the 62T engine bigger and others have too, but none make any more power than the 1014cc engine (IN MY OPINION) because of crank rod centerline limitations of the 62T based engine.

what a way to commercialize the thread.

The guy is looking for help and ideas, not a marketing model/sales pitch.
My comments were thru experience.
I ride a 701.
I've had a ride or two on an XS-1000.
I almost couldn't ride it.
Some experience is helpful when riding a ski that hits that hard!
A lot of freestyle skilz can be mastered long before a motor like that is needed.

Listen to what chucky just said. To make a certain hp requires a certain amount of air and fuel.
You can go bigger but if the limiting factor is not the size but more the airflow then there is no point.

Sorry about that, should have quoted

wasnt referring to you sir

But you are right for sure, too much power, too soon, isn't always a good thing.

fixed my post
