How many ride but have no friends that ride anymore

Do you guys that ride solo at the lake feel kinda weird going to a busy beach and riding by yourself? Around my parts there are so many lakes it very rare to go to the lake and see someone else. All my friends have quads dirtbike a guns rc cars ect. So they are always up for playing with those toys. Just not coming with me to ride skis.

I ride solo most of the time, but don't usually go to far from where I launched incase of a breakdown. Better than not riding of course. Riding with buddies is better though, ride harder go farther, plus we usually push each other and improve faster as a group.

Dont sell them unless you really need the cash, you'll regret it. Trust me. Just winterize them and put them away, they certainly wont depreciate.

Ditto, I used to ride solo all the time and had an hour and a half drive one way. Last year I think I rode twice but now I'm back into it, and the guy I'm moving in with loves riding the other ski which is awesome. Nonetheless I still went out twice on Saturday since he was out of town. If you get any enjoyment out of it keep the skis, not like they are costing you money just sitting around. Maybe you'll find someone when you're doing mx or biking who would be interested in joining you.

solo is OK inland
not so much in the ocean
I can usually see one or two bass boats/pontoons at all times when on the lake
surf = buddy system

I ride solo %95 of the time, there are a few good groups to ride with but I have a house and a fiance, so I can't always ride on their scedule or devote a whole day to ride. I tend to ride for 2-3 hours each sat and sun and I go out solo from like 7-10 am so I can still be around the house and get things done

I wouldn't sell the ski's, the price is only going up it seams like as they supply is dwindling. If you ride alone get a whistle and wear a helmet if you ride hard. I rode alone for a couple years, I picked up an X2 to have friends ride with me. Good luck finding a buddy to right with.

Since no one answered. Don't you feel weird going to the lake to a packed day area by yourself to ride? Riding solo is not that unsafe at the lake I go to when not camping. It's a mile long and 150 to 170yards wide. The one long side has cabins and the campground/day area.

Yah im solo most times unless someone drives up here or i drive to meet them.
Those are for full ride days (wknds).
I usually ride after or before work alone cause we have a shack on the river,but the river is huge,cold and 8 to 10 mph current .
So if i have a problem i will eventually end up in detroit! Or freeze to death.
lol
Hard to tow yourself in:)
But if there are boaters out they are always willing to help.
