Hey guys, sorry for the delay. I have been up north (yes even more north) for the weekend. Anyways, i gotta say that i too enjoy the hull building ideas from builders. some more than others and with the exception of one that came out over the years. IMO the stunt hull was in most ways backwards stepping from a superjet. Sure it is short and lighter but there are too many things that are badly done. I know he addressed some of the issues to get it together. Looking at pictures I am unsure that the gas tank is removable unless the motor is out. Let me know. It things like that, that i would not want to copy.

Most AM hulls improve on every aspect of our beloved superjet. the stunt hull is not the case. now i rag on some engineers because they seem to be the first to boast of their education and diplomas. Is it impossible that a structural engineer could be a hull builder? no, but it does not give any credit IMO until he has built a bunch of products that have been test proven by strangers in the "sport/industry". I am sorry, but I don't believe you can use what you do for a living, as credit to how well your product is going to turn out, especially if you have not built it yet. We have many hull builders with many different backgrounds. RRP hull have been updated and have been getting the bugs worked out, same as superfreaks. i am sure waterdawg has had issues etc etc. Getting it right the first time is next to impossible. Fitment of the parts is key to me. take any parts from any superjet and swap them over to the next superjet. no problems. Why one would make a plug from something that is not as true as a superjet is beyond me. That is why i made some jabs at someone who is so smart. Even if it was for myself, and no one else, I would not start with something so untrue. Chances are after you pull the the $carbon$ hull out of the mold that was made from the original there will be new tolerances. There are alot of people on here that i do respect, others nope, not going to happen just because of the button. my mom did not teach me to keep my mouth shut when i see something going down i don't like, i don't turn a blind eye. Story time. We have a guy that works for me that starts sending money to a women that he chats with online, she is going to buy a ticket and fly into toronto to meet him. does it effect me that he is paypaling money to her? no, but i still tell him to stop being a fool and give his head a shake. (yes it was a money scam.) that is who i am. sorry. I am not at all surprised to see a hull building topic still going, that is what forums are for. discussing all points. You guys want to know my stand on hulls? i can recap: I love superjets but not so much in stock form. I feel they need to be modified to work even better for freeriding and freestyle. short and light is a performance gain. ride time on the hull will get you feeling comfy and confident on it. If you can't mod your hull, no problem, we have builders. My top three choices (and this means nothing to anyone but me) in this order. Rick Roy's XFS, WCF Vision, Berky Superfreak. there are a bunch more hulls out there and i have tried a few but i think i would be very happy with any of the three i listed. They have been well thought out, individually designed by their creators, have mad improvements over the yamaha superjets but still use the superjet driveline. Any hull can be smashed or trashed in the right circumstance which is why we have fiberglass and resin in our garages. Its not there to build a new hull. lol. Tom, thanks for your input, you have opened my eyes on a few things and reinforced other things i know. thanks to the others that jab back at me, that is totally fair and deserving. it takes a big, strong, good looking man with stunning hair and beard to admit when he has wronged someone, so waternut.......
