I guess the Tarpon were stirred up...for whatever reason. Creepy Jeff witnessed tarpon busting at the spot as well.

I may have to retire my ATC after this ride, solid 10-12 footers and it didn't capture a single frame.

Folley Beach surf was big but mostly bump swell with +35mph winds whipping off the top. There was soooooo much room in between swells it was stupid. The converging chop on the 2 mile run out to the surf was no picnic. I have definately been spoiled by the short runs out at Jax and the spot".

The FX Mafia defied the evacuation rules today and enjoyed some waves up to double overhead...it was fricken awesome!!!

I was out riding with CarterB today. we switched helmets so he could get some footage of himself. luckily too because no one would have cared about his tarpon encounter without pics. lol

first time ive been out in surf that big and all i can say is wow. i was riding very respectfully with my little stock fx1. it was just as fun as it was scary. never going to look at normal Daytona surf the same. go pros dont give wave height any justice.

Waves yesterday afternoon at the spot were awesome. They kept getting bigger and cleaner until dark.
