Say someone pays a well known and respected engine builder to build them an engine, then the customer hydro-locks the motor bending a rod. Customer can't figure out why it doesn't run right anymore and demands a refund from well known engine builder and sells the motor to someone else who finds the bent rods, and engine builder tells customer to pound sound. Does this give customer the right to say engine builder ripped them off.....?

Details are that the customer bent the rods, sold the motor to an unsuspecting person, while demanding a refund from the builder. Then has the balls to say the builder ripped him off?!? Really....?

Oh it's not me, I just find it takes a lot of nerve to blow something up, pass it on, then demand a refund from the builder and tell people how he screwed you.

Sounds like the 'customer' is never at fault but is quick to blame anyone and anything else as the reason for the issue.

I would never buy a used engine period. That's just me, unless it was to tear apart and build up.

With the stuff people do to skis it's like a perpetual carfax commercial.

Ran without oil and never flushed..... ooops I mean new top end!!

EDIT: I forgot about this CLASSIC one: I have no clue what goes on in an engine or any concept of torque specs/setup/any mechanical intellect but I built this one for show and tell and it has low hours, just runs funny..... or I mean great!! runs good.

I'm thinking ChrisFiore is NOT stupid enough to make a negative post about Jetworks. Surely he realizes he would get pounded!
Ever notice that there is drama surrounding all of his sale threads? It has gotten to the point that if you were to llok up negative feedback in the dictionary you would see a picture of him. (here and pwcyesterday)

I bought it from Jetworks.
We had tuning issues, but Art was not helpful what so ever, He just pushed if off as nothing and didn't care when i brought questions up as to the carb issues. I was angry at Art because of the CARB issue, he rebuilt my carbs, charged me for new butterflies, yet, they did not sit good at all. and the screws were not installed correctly on the butterflies either. We had other issues with it as well, but really, I didn't start a neg. thread, so I'm not about to start it here. It was all taken care of, and that was that.

As for the engine, the engine was NOT hydrolocked, and when selling it, it had PERFECT compression, I didn't even remove the head, it was all done and built by Art, and that was the way it was sold.

The new buyer bought it, took it apart, and found some play in one of the pistons, ended up sending it all out, and I paid for the bill for the damages on the engine, and took care of all that with the new buyer, I knew nothing of a bent rod, and that is why I paid for it all to be fixed for him. He can chime in here when he gets off work.

I NEVER started a negative feedback thread regarding it all, because it wasn't of that huge of a concern to me.

I invite anyone to go read the negative threads on here, then look up all the positive ones too, This last sWAPMEET one is a joke, he's is all opinions, I see no proof of anything he says, I provided proof of everything that happened. I have had PMs from others telling me of similar issues with him as a buyer, and they will post if they choose to.

I have ALWAYS made things right with anyone and everyone. Go read all the threads for yourselves.Apparently offering for full replacement of parts if parts goes missing warrants a negative thread..
