1- I was not tuning the engine. and it wasn't a tuning issue, it ended up being cause the carb butterflies were not properly installed for one. but I'm not going into it here.
2- if you want details on what happened, call me, there is a damn good reason i never made a negative thread, because everyone makes mistakes, he's a human too. Im not going to sit on here and throw down about him.

EVERY TIME i call art he helps u out in every way possible. It sounds like u said or did something to piss him over majorly for him not to help u... i do not know u or him but i can say hes very helpfull and its amazing what he can do.

People make mistakes thats life. But going ans selling a junk motor to some one is messed up.. ok u didnt relize it was a junk motor but was having problems with it couldnt get it tuned so u tryed ditching it onto some one some one else. SHADY.
Even tough u say u fixed the problem how long was the guy with out a motor. During summer riding season.. id be kind of up set waiting on a motor that was rtr to be fixed...

But i have never bought from u and probally wont due to the feedback that i see alll the time. If i would id make sure id pay with cc threw paypal so i have 2 backups.. im not bashing u just my opinion on it..

At the time it was sold it was running great. The issues were had when we first checked compression(right after we installed the engine on Day 1) , and then first ran it with the BJ44s, we eventually figured out the issues with the carbs, it was the BJs that art built, the butterflies were not right in the end. that was the cause of the issues we had.
i had blackjacks on there first, those are the carbs art built for me.. .but then We swapped out the Blackjack carbs, and installed Novis, and those tuned in perfect and everything was great. tuned by thrust innovations, and man it was better then it ever was before.
The motor wouldn't run right on the blackjack carbs(this is the times I was on the phone with art, because it was fully all his set up, and he had no answers) swapped in Novi, and it was running perfect, just decided to get a different engine.
That is when i sold it, running perfect, sold it with the NOVI carbs too that were all dialed for it. With perfect compression.

THEN the buyer took it all apart, and found the issues, which I then paid for to be fixed.

Oh it's not me, I just find it takes a lot of nerve to blow something up, pass it on, then demand a refund from the builder and tell people how he screwed you.

Is anyone surprised? Some people (doctors and lawyers) do the same thing with $100k airplanes.

Oh hey, I've had one PM (referencing my negative feedback thread) about you. Not from all your phantom sellers who won't sell to me now (LMAO!!!!), but from a buyer who wanted to literally choke you over a sketchy motor deaL and the way you handled it. I also learned that you screwed over a buddy of mine (kotajoe) on a motor deal. For whatever reason he doesn't want to deal with all your noise on a feedback thread. Luckily people like me arn't afraid to voice my opinion and warn others.

Nobody has a issue with me, you're backpedaling bro. That's all you do. Backpedal, make excuses, lie, and defend.
This is a typical characteristic of a liar. If you were a honest seller/ person you'd admit a mistake and do the right thing. Not argue, and place blame. I've never seen a thread where you admitted 'yep, my bad... Totally my fault, what can I do to make it right?'
Its always somebody else.

You only want to make things right after someone is good and upset.

Chris, the 'BlackJack's' that you keep referring to-were they originally built as blackjacks or some carbs you sent him to modify?

I think this is the motor that was offered to me a while back, Glad I passed. I am not one to get into internet drama, but this :):):):) is getting ridiculous. What happened to trust? When I sell any part I make sure anything I know about it is disclosed. For example, I have sold electronics that I have not tested, i put that in the for sale thread. I sold a CDI that turned out to be bad, and even though I listed it as "not tested", I still refunded the money and let him keep the junk cdi.

It isnt always about making a dollar. You have to do the right thing and make deals right if you want to make money in the future.

Ya know... i've been thinking long and hard about this.

I feel like...... I dunno. Maybe we should give this guy a chance maybe.
It could be... that really he's just be dealt a crappy hand... repeatedly... and it makes him look bad.

His mistakes are many and they clearly have had grave consequences for members of this board.....
Perhaps we can wipe the slate clean... right here and now, from this day forward and let him have a chance to make things right.

I dunno... perhaps... in a situation like this its best to pull in a unbiased, third party to really evaluate the situation and make a decision.
Who would that be you ask?

Why jetski cat of course!

Jetski cat, should we give Mr Fiore a second chance?

, Thanks for that post. Proves MISTAKES happen, and SOMETIMES YOU DONT KNOW when things are wrong!!
With SWAPMEET, the postal service lost the package, or delayed it, I'm not even sure, but it arrived, and in the limbo time of not knowing the location, I told the buyer multiple times that if it passed the 14 day windows(USPS explained this to both him and me, they have 14 days before you can do ANYTHING at all), and I told him that if they were gone, I would replace them with ALL BRAND NEW electronics.

As for this engine- the owner of it is going to post here, I had NO idea about the issues with it, and the SECOND he brought them up to me, I paid the bills for it and he now has a BRAND NEW engine.

But your lucky, your deal wasn't with someone like mine were, at least your understanding of the fact that things happen, that there is no way to know issues sometimes! Lucky you didn't sell that CDI to some other people here, you would have a negative feedback thread about it!

This engine has NOTHING what so ever to do with ANY of you posting here, the buyer of it is happy, spoke with him on the phone for a half hour this afternoon, he has no problems what so ever, and is happy with everything. So I don't see what the issue is here?

As for the electronics, well go read the thread that SWAPMEET started, and make your own decisions about that, but In my book, offering a full replacement with all brand new parts is about the best you can do.

It was first put up for sale because mom waked out on dad, and dad is currently looking for a job, so we needed the money to move into a different house, but then few days ago a few strong leads came in for jobs, and he told me that if i didn't want to sell the BOB, i didn't have to, well i already took a deposit on it, and was not going back on the deal. Sat back and thought again, regretting selling it, cause my dream is to compete and such, so I started talking to MATT E about buying his freak, because I had someone willing to put up an engine for me to compete on, was almost ready to make a deal on it all, but really sat back and thought about it, and that combined with all this :):):):), made me realize why I don't need another ski, made me realize its time to grow up and put money into the things that are important, and at this time, a huge money ski isn't what i need right now.

There ya go, did you really need all my families issues to make yourself happy? Didn't really think it was anyones business.

Lol at least I don't lie to people and if something comes up solve the problem. I've had numerous times where I wasn't able to ship an item on the days said I would. I'd PM the person and apologize to them and say it was my fault. Not the post office lost my package.

Used stuff is used just bc he found play in a piston doesn't mean he deliberately sold a motor he knew was shot..plus he fixed it!!.should of asked an engine builder to check it out before the purchase...even then there's things an engine builder would miss or not be able to find...buy a brand new motor or don't complain when after you buy :):):):) and it grenades. Although there are times when a seller deliberately sells something broken or ready to break...then they are douchbags. but then again you have to be a smart buyer..rule here is, investigate what your are about to buy to eliminate the chance of you getting screwed

This was solely started due to him saying Art screwed him over. Art's been doing this longer then he's been alive, pretty sure he knows a thing or two about motors after all those years. Art is a two-stroke genius, and for someone to say he screwed him over is complete BS plain and simple. Art will talk to you for 45 minutes just cause that's who he is, regardless of whether you've purchased something from him or not.
