to clear it all up from me the buyer not lier true story here. i bought the engine. 3100 as soon as i got it i looked at it threw the exhaust port and new it was :):):):)d up i thought mabe wristpin or piston. called chris he said it ran fine good compression. didnt have a way to test one on the bench so i called art. he told me a bunch of :):):):) about the engine and problems chris had. art didnt think it was his fault. so sent it to my guy tim at zforce racing. alot closer faster and resonable prices. art is to exspensive (california)and too slow wanted it back asap. I NEVER TOOK ENGINE APART FOR REASON OF BLAME SENT IT OUT THE NEXT DAY. tim came back with bent rear rod on a crankworx billet crank. also both pistons were collapsed and outa spec. he said cylinders would get into clearance with a good hone. one was scored pretty bad but tim said he could clean it up. not sure if engine ran and if it did def wouldnt last that long. had to get 2 new 88mm piston kits from art and base gaskets and tim did the rest. still havennt got it back. tim is very busy and plus welded crank takes lil time cutn carefuly to pull apart and he had to weld it back when pressed together. should have it soon. tim is great by the way if people dont know him.have another one he built runs great never one issue. stand up guy tim zarnstorff (z force racing.) this 876 will be pretty close to brand new im sure it will rip. all in all 3100 for engine 1100 for parts n labor. and chris is payin for half not the full amount. legally he dont have to pay for :):):):)t. chris has been helpfull. will let everyone know how engine runs when i get it back. the whole moral here is buyin :):):):) off this site lookn at pictures takin peoples word is a gamble. if u dont know this ur ignorant. i know this and unfortunately ive had bad luck w buyin :):):):) off here. i bought carbon rev from motoman for 4000 sold it for 2500 in better shape. got took on that one. :):):):) happens life goes on. but i have seen other jetworks engines that have carbs issues personally. dont know who to blame but id say most of the time its the consumer people that dont put there :):):):) together right. i know exactly how my engines run and know exactly whens something is off and i fix it. never had probs w engines beside normal wear n tear. so i have a carbon rok and a zforce 710 im selln. nice :):):):) very cheap. buy from me lol

How come a gay ass drama thread with a bunch of women crying gets more got dam attention then the driveline, freeride, and freestyle threads. Wheres all the damn tech. Is this site just about crying all the time? I know its general, but thats general ski :):):):), not your stupid high school bull:):):):). Always at the top of every page, alojng with what ski should I get, and why does it just click.

i had blackjacks on there first, those are the carbs art built for me.. .but then We swapped out the Blackjack carbs, and installed Novis, and those tuned in perfect and everything was great. tuned by thrust innovations, and man it was better then it ever was before.
The motor wouldn't run right on the blackjack carbs(this is the times I was on the phone with art, because it was fully all his set up, and he had no answers) swapped in Novi, and it was running perfect, just decided to get a different engine.
That is when i sold it, running perfect, sold it with the NOVI carbs too that were all dialed for it. With perfect compression.

THEN the buyer took it all apart, and found the issues, which I then paid for to be fixed.
...

So the rod was bent and pistons collapsed in shipping?

Say someone pays a well known and respected engine builder to build them an engine, then the customer hydro-locks the motor bending a rod. Customer can't figure out why it doesn't run right anymore and demands a refund from well known engine builder and sells the motor to someone else who finds the bent rods, and engine builder tells customer to pound sound. Does this give customer the right to say engine builder ripped them off.....?

Opinions please......
Haha chris is at it again.

Chris told me that Chris called complaining and Art said he would see if it was something he did and fix it, yet Chris didn't want to pay for shipping. Then Chris threatened to sell it (knowing that it was broke). Then after that conversation he put it up for sale. So saying that you didn't know it was broke is shady. More to the story just isn't my business typing more.

Is there some issue to wanting something new? You do it every week with a brand new ski...
Is there something wrong to just want something new even though the old thing is fine?
Cause you sold you Rickter, does that mean there was something wrong with it?
Cause you sold your ROK, does that mean there was something wrong with it..?

Never knew that selling something to try something new was a crime...

When have I scammed ANYONE???

The buyer of the electronics got his stuff, USPS delay, and I took the fall for it, and even was giving him additional parts free cause of the delays..

the buyer of the engine JUST said that he had no issues with me, and that I took care of stuff beyond what he expected... There was no way of telling there was issues until it was apart...

so I don't see what the huge issues are here, everyone is going to have issues, its about how you SOLVE the issues that arise. and every time anything has arose, I immidetly took care of it to assure everyone was happy...
If you never told me you had an issue, then how could I have done anything about it?

I am going to say this once so listen up son, good reputable sellers don't have the kind of issues that seem to be following you around like an albatross circling a ship, where there is smoke there is usually a damn fire and you are blowing a lot of damn smoke !
