to clear it all up from me the buyer not lier true story here. i bought the engine. 3100 as soon as i got it i looked at it threw the exhaust port and new it was d up i thought mabe wristpin or piston. called chris he said it ran fine good compression. didnt have a way to test one on the bench so i called art. he told me a bunch of about the engine and problems chris had. art didnt think it was his fault. so sent it to my guy tim at zforce racing. alot closer faster and resonable prices. art is to exspensive (california)and too slow wanted it back asap. I NEVER TOOK ENGINE APART FOR REASON OF BLAME SENT IT OUT THE NEXT DAY. tim came back with bent rear rod on a crankworx billet crank. also both pistons were collapsed and outa spec. he said cylinders would get into clearance with a good hone. one was scored pretty bad but tim said he could clean it up. not sure if engine ran and if it did def wouldnt last that long. had to get 2 new 88mm piston kits from art and base gaskets and tim did the rest. still havennt got it back. tim is very busy and plus welded crank takes lil time cutn carefuly to pull apart and he had to weld it back when pressed together. should have it soon. tim is great by the way if people dont know him.have another one he built runs great never one issue. stand up guy tim zarnstorff (z force racing.) this 876 will be pretty close to brand new im sure it will rip. all in all 3100 for engine 1100 for parts n labor. and chris is payin for half not the full amount. legally he dont have to pay for t. chris has been helpfull. will let everyone know how engine runs when i get it back. the whole moral here is buyin off this site lookn at pictures takin peoples word is a gamble. if u dont know this ur ignorant. i know this and unfortunately ive had bad luck w buyin off here. i bought carbon rev from motoman for 4000 sold it for 2500 in better shape. got took on that one. happens life goes on. but i have seen other jetworks engines that have carbs issues personally. dont know who to blame but id say most of the time its the consumer people that dont put there together right. i know exactly how my engines run and know exactly whens something is off and i fix it. never had probs w engines beside normal wear n tear. so i have a carbon rok and a zforce 710 im selln. nice very cheap. buy from me lol
