I am not Happy-SOB

It's my sister's dog, but I take care of it pretty much. Not sure what happened to the leg, she had a bump on it, and my sis just kept on NOT taking her to the vet....The bump got about the size of a nickle so we took her...and they surgecally removed it...and its been about 2 months of wrapping that thing, and cleaning it with paroxide...what a biatch......Oh, and its Blue Hueler and Pit Bull, Weird!but close enough

Moondance

Just plain me....
yep...acd & blue healers are very close; i wondered what it was mixed with since she has smooth hair; my acd had a similar knot on his leg...thought he'd have to have it cut off too, but it finally went down

ok....hijack officially over..no, really it is....i'm serious!

Hey guys,

I just had it tried with both original and new connected....Did not work, got a spark sound....Then I took the original out and used just the ground cable from battery to head bolt and it turns over now....What does this mean? Will it run like this? Are the cables that come from the cover already grounded to the motor?

which cables from the cover are you talking about?

the small ones? that come from behind the flywheel?

charge your battery.

secure that new cable you bought to a flywheel cover bolt, or some other bolt on the engine.

connect both blacks the the battery.

touch the red to the + on the battery, is there a spark there?

if there is a spark there, your short is still there.
and the fuse will continue to blow.

One thing at a time man

Ok,

Do you want me to check if it sparks there while I have Both the neg cable to the motor bolt, and the other neg cable that goes to the starter hooked up to the battery? Or just want me to see if I get sparked while the cable I bought is hooked to the bolt?

I can get it to crank when only the cable I bought is connected to the bolt, and neg post on battery...but if the other one is attached it will not crank....Can it run with the single cable from neg to battery? and obvisously the red on red?

Basically,

Both Neg cables, or the One new one while testing to see if it sparks at the battery.

that doesnt work right.

if it works with one ground, it should work with 2, something else must have been different.

you can run it with 1 ground, or 40.

arrrrrrggg.

this is aggrevating, I need to be there to see it, and to check some stuff with a meter.

We are on the same page.....Should I just see if it will crank and run with the one single ground going to the engine bolt?

sure, try whatever you think, it will help you figure out what does what.

just DONT let anything red, touch anythning black, or any metal parts ( grounded to the engine)

Ok,

Hooked the start stop switch up,

Press the button and it turns over,

I still have not primed it so I don't know if it will run like this...Should I try it?

Fuse is good, because its turning over everytime I press start.....Just dont know if I should try and run it.
