I love finding out reasons for forum names

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, moved here in 2002 and was branded "Zimmy from Zimababwe" by a couple guys in class. After the first few weeks of school here in the USA most people didn't even know my real name, they just referred to me as "Zimmy"...

I met the WaveJunkies, had to come up with a screen name, so I went with Zimmy. Even now I think there are quite a few people in the jetski community who don't know my real name, but Zimmy works well for me! It has somewhat become my official nickname amongst friends and the jetski community.

Last name is Horne and i've always spent more time with dogs than humans. The first time I heard 'hornedog' was in highschool.. I was on the pitcher's mound and had just started my windup. My friend playing 3rd yells "LETS GO HORNEDOG" .... I threw a wild pitch over the umpires head and both teams and spectators had a laugh. It just kinda stuck around after that. I started using it in the mid 90's when one 'g' just wasn't enough.

since my name was mentioned , i guess i'll add. jetskibuzzard, cause i circle, land , pick their bones and leave them bleaching in the sun. still known to some, but previous to that it was snake. the movie escape from new york, snake pliskin/ kurt russel.

Jetpilot...we all know what that means, 808...are code for Hawaii, Aloha! The other choice would have been Eurojet, Europilot or something with Czech, because of my origin.

Since FX-1, FX, were taken, EfX was not. Been using it on forums, emails, or whenever I need a username. Some places it varies, but its just paying a little homage to the main thing that really makes Fla living worth while to me. Sometimes I'll use a mashup of sorts with FX-1 & Super Jet.

I get asked a lot where DirtyDirtson came from. Back in the beginning of high school we came up with the name Dirtson and it was used as a reference for F ing someone over. So when BF2 came out I chose dirtydirtson as my gamertag and since no one on this planet use that name I've been using it since for everything maybe it's time to grow up and us a more appealing name.

509Freerider was a name I picked up from snowmobiling almost 15 years ago and I've used it in multiple forums and email addy's through the years, 509- my area code, Freerider- should be obvious, think its kind of cool now cause I used it before I really knew what it was all about

No i did not have the ski blessed. I am acctually not all that religious...
Bought my SN from a guy in Ohio. He claimed he bought it off of some executive for Yamaha who was moving to another country and could not take it with him. My brother in law made a joke about the ski being 'blessed' being owned by a Yami executive... lame i know, but as this was the first forum i have joined, i kinda just ran with it.

Mine is because i have been into cars and drag racing forever. When i first started to join car forums and other crap, i had a GTO at the time. Hence the screen name draggingto. So i now use that name for every forum i join, makes it simple to remember.
