I couldnt keep my steering tight until I finally used Green Locktite. So I made a lock nut which should do the trick ( havent tested it yet).

I may offer these for sale if they work at about 15$ a nut

I didnt put flats on it, because You dont need to crank the nut tight, just snug it up ( can use vise grips).

So what yah think?:arms:

Anyone use that, does it work?

It works fine. The TBM(http://www.tbmracing.com/products/controls.html#steeringnut) nut is the same except for with flats. The XFT system uses two thin jam nuts instead and that's been working well for me. The only minor drawback to the split nut design is the small size of the pinch screw. If it corrodes it can be a bit difficult to remove.
