Nick ,it is MIKE YOUNG that owes the apology ...... Especially to the two mothers i saw running their kids out of the area . MIKE YOUNG did you and our community a huge disservice. If this SPANK SOCK is allowed to remain a " promoter" at ANY event we are in deep trouble.

Thanks again for your dedication to this event .... you hosted on a great ride once again !

I did not know anyone could talk all day long like that... The job was really pretty easy; play some tunes, promote some sponsors, play some more tunes, throw in a little trivia, play some more tunes, promote some sponsors. HOST the event, dont try to BE the event.

This year was worse than previous years, for sure. I would have been ticked off to if my wife and kids where there.

Let's not forget that many people have let alcohol get the best of them at rides. While I think Mikey needs to play by a different set of rules due to the public nature and high visibility of this event, it didn't help that I watched many different riders bring him numerous rounds of shots. Again, I'll reiterate that an announcer/emcee/DJ/host is expected to maintain a level of professionalism and we as adults are all responsible for our own behavior, but peers should be expected to do their best to support that effort.

I do not intend to defend any inappropriate behavior or language, but only to back Slutty's aim to prevent a libelous hate-fest. A guy got caught up in the moment and the hoopla and Nick apologized for the effects and any offense that may have been caused while giving his assurance that it will not happen again, so the case is closed for me.

This is only my opinion... it's probably wrong.

The alcohol isn't to blame that's a choice he made and the lines he crossed were his choice also. Nick took appropriate action and as painful as it was to see/hear all day, he made the right choice by riding it out and announcing his apology and future plans after it was all said and done to avoid a worse situation.

I think he started by asking the cougars to come up.

He then said he wanted to see some cougar boobies.

Then he said we all know cougar boobies are saggy, but that's okay.

Agree,Thanks Nick! The Swift Creek Crew had a blast and look forward to the next one. Def props on the Grand Seas, the hot tub swirling water thingy in the room was premo!!!!!

I've known Mikey for years and he does a ton of promoting for the Jr. classes, the sport in general, etc. If kids were present and he made an a$$ out of himself, I am sure he regrets it. I don't think there is a person on here who hasn't made an a$$ out of themselves in a drinken stupor before. Not making excuses for him, but just pointing out that no one is perfect.

I agree totally Scottie, I do not want this to be a hate fest on him. He has always been a good Mcee. It's just that many people approached me and then messaged me. Not a few, I am talking a large number of people. I just had to say something.

I totally understand, bro. There is a time and place for everything and I am sure on the sauce, this wasn't the time OR place.

I heard nothing but praise for you and the event otherwise, thanks for keeping the sport alive!

I wasn't there, but appreciate you saying something Nick. Most of us to one extent or another like to party. However, there is a time and a place for partying and there is a time and a place for representing our sport in a positve manor. We all want to see families and young riders get into our sport. This is the only way our sport will continue. We need to make sure that the hotels, other guests, and families involved are all shown respect.
