Thank you very much nick for addressing the problem and apologizing even though its not your fault. You have way to much to worry about and shouldn't have to worry about something like a drunk fool making fun of himself and the jet ski community. I almost pulled the plug on the speaker and locked him in one of the hotel rooms. He really owes a huge apology to everyone and should never say the word "bitches" again unless he wants to be in a Kesha or Brittany spears video.

My name is Mike Young and I was your emcee, or lack there of this past weekend. I hope that you can find it in your heart to accept my most sincere apologies for my profane attitude and lack of professionalism. It is not in my character to behave as irresponsibly as I did, I have had some tough personal issues that I have been dealing with, although that is no excuse. My apologies are to every family, friend, and staff members that I let down. I have reached out for some counseling and if anybody wants to reach to me directly, my info is listed below. My apologies especially go out to the sponsors and Nick as no had influence on my crass actions. This is my 25th year in our industry and I am ashamed of myself for the first time in my life because of my lack of professionalism I wish everyone good health and happiness and again....I am very sorry. I was present and do understand that Mikey does owe an apology for the harsh language and comments during hours that children were present or for any uncooth comments but I think many of you new to the sport of watercross or freestyle need to understand that Mike Young has done many things for this sport and I frankly do not appreciate some of the comments being thrown in his direction. I haved raced under Mike Young, Surf and Turf Promotions, for 2 decades and although he does have his faults, like all of us, he has been a adamant supporter of watercross and the IJSBA for many years. In fact, Mike Young continued to promote races when all others had given up on this sport and for his dedication I thank him. Mike has been a friend of mine and my home, region 7, promoter since my beginnings in this sport and I cannot imagine my children racing watercross without him being present and on the microphone. I do understand that each is entitled to his opinion but I know that Mike had no intentions of making anyone uncomfortable with children present or otherwise. I pray that Mike is able to resolve any problems he may have so that my children may grow up racing knowing the same great people in this sport that I have come to love over the past 20 years.

I am with Billy here. I have raced Mikes races and worked for him. There is nobody out there that cares more for this sport nor has done more for this sport than Mike Young. I was not there, but based off what I read, yeah, he lost control. Guess what, there is not one person here that has not done that also. So each of you that are passing judgement, I am going to call you a straight up Hypocrite. Who are you to pass judgement? Nick stepped up and did what he had to do. He also said he did not want this to be a Hate bash on Mike. He also posted Mikes Apology. Yet what do many of you do? The exact thing that Nick said he did not want to happen. What you all did was Disrespect Nick as well. Honestly, some of you make me sick.........
