no im leaving them the way they are. at that point, my hood liner is at its lowest point. My hood liner goes UPWARD from the holes, to the top of my hood. Water doesnt run upward, so it shouldnt let water into the compartment. Maybe a little bit once in a while, but I doubt it.

Im sticking my breather tubes through the liner abut an inch so that water doesnt run down the tubes. instead the water will hit the edge of the hose and not go into my engine compartment

hey ice...put those breather tubes ALL THE WAY UP to the top of the hood

and the air intakes are fine as is, i put vents on my for cosmetics, but they're not necessary

ya, i wasnt planning on any vents on the back of my hood. Its fine. and i probably will stick those hoses all the way up now that you mention it...

Im painting it at a body shop, havent taken pics yet! forgot my camera. Bottom got sprayed black saturday, and the top with the hood and nosepiece are getting sprayed red this coming saturday. Im kind of on the owners schedule, since hes nice enough to let me use his booth. which is fine by me

full pics monday when i bring it home! the guy I know, whos shop im using, busted out his camera to snap some pics and this is the few he took. I wish he took more but i wasnt paying attention.

The paint is a new paint, called Ful-Thane. Its like an emron paint, very durable and nice. Its a single stage catalyzing paint, and it looks BAD A$$!!!! im so pumped!!!!!:woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :Banane01: :Banane01: :arms: :arms: :headbang: :headbang: :biggrin:

its back! got it home after i painted it! it looks orange but its not, its actually a bright red, like fire engine red. tech. called poppy flame red.

anyywho, im so pumped!
