Who the F*ck cares? All the money in the world doesn't change a Dbag egomaniac into a decent human being, it just makes them a wealthy Dbag egomaniac. I'd do everything pretty much the same. I started in 92 with 85 550 which I still have. I've owned every oem stand up made during the last 30+ years. (except the new 4 strokes)
I"ve liked riding them all. I also like riding sit downs. I use them way more than my stand up these days, as we ride far and do big rides to restaurants and cool spots all over. I wish I still had time and energy to race and travel to different states to ride. These days it's great to get my kids riding and loving the sport as much as I do.
If I could do anything over it would not believe the Hype around new ski's or parts and not be as brand loyal as I use to be. Older and wiser is helpful.

People don’t bother me much anymore. I always seem to get frustrated when a young person tries something without without giving it much focus. I tend to shame them for it.

I know you are not referring to me , BK can tell you I will be at a several freerides somewhere and I will be riding skis , not sitting on the beach chit chatting like everyone else.
I will also drop whatever I am doing at a freeride to help someone fix their ski so they can ride too , I have done it many times and provided parts and tools to do so .
Time will tell if you can stay in the sport as long as I have , or if you can make any kind of real contribution to the sport .
As far as behind the scenes , you truly have no idea, I have given many parts away for free and picked up the shipping , I also done a started a few trends I will never get the credit for , some of the guys here who have been around way longer than you know what I am talking about , but what truly separates us is that I do give a poop and as long as I am here I always will.
