Im going to stick with the msd from now on but I will be keen to see if some one can make one that works there is a great gain in the adjustable ignition curve.
I have used a 760 front cover and flywheel before with a modified sxr ignition and that worked trick

I'm only going on what jet manic posted so don't shoot the messenger. I have no reason to believe jet manic would lie, you on the other hand , but your right it's not about the hx3. I was simply posting a history about programable 61x / 62t igntions with known faluires

So why is HX3 on this list Wax???Have you tried it??? No...Just heard from a friend???? You know nothing about this ignition so perhaps you should wind your neck in till you do!

not justifying anything, just pointing out an instance: post #48

So thats one unit out of a lot sold which didn't get reported as faulty and even when we emailed Jetmaniac.....no response. I have no understanding as to how something can be condemned as a failure with only one problem which was not even reported to the manufacturer. To date we have nothing but praise and positive comments regarding HX3. However this thread is not about HX3!!!
Chris.
I think you were a little quick to jump on wax

With your guy's track record with the original epic, expect customers to be skeptical of your new HX3. After I had two epics fail on me and no support from atp, I gave up on the ignition. I was starting to come around to the idea of the new one, but after seeing jetmaniacs problem and $1000 in junk epics sitting in my electronics bin i shy'd away.
