I was gonna identify as a fisherman tho. Then my fun is more important than your fun! Loud jet skis are annoying!!!

Wasn't a single person fishing. What a shame

Imagine this. I'm at your lake. Next to your house. I want to have a house party. I play bass all night Long till the hours of the law allow. Is that disrespectful? Should I not be allowed to do that, because you don't like bass? Does your opinion actually matter?? I absolutely despise loud bass. I don't think other people.are wrong for enjoying it though. Should I be whopping my neighbors asses because they are annoying me doing something LEGAL that I don't like?

That's exactly how these stupid ass fisherman sound. Never once in my life have I denied being an "asshole" never once in my life has a person doubted the authenticity of my feelings. I call it exactly how I see it. I loathe fisherman. As much as they hate jet skis. I hate them. They can change first. Idc. They don't stop me from jet skiing

Never really had issues with fishermen but I have had plenty of issues with random people at the launches. One time I pulled down to the local boat launch to find a family camped out blocking the entire launch with their lawn chairs. I asked them to vacate the "boat launch" long enough for me to launch my ski and the wife threw an absolute fit. There was an empty beach area less than 40 ft away specifically for them. I launched and left the area immediately to go ride some coves away from everybody. When I came back for fuel later, the mom asked me to spray her kids and started cussing me out when I refused. Both parents reeked of pot so I f'n unloaded on her in front of her kids and husband.

Now, I told that story so I could tell this one. We were in Vermont last week and I saw a sign on a boat launch that listed out the legal ways to use the area, in order of priority.
Angling, was the very first thing on the list, even before the actual launching of a fishing vessel. No f'in wonder they they think they own the lakes. is this just Vermont or do other states have the same rules?

4.0 Authorized Activities
The following are authorized activities in order of priority:
4.1 Angling, ice fishing and the launching of any vessel to be used for fishing and parking of vehicles and trailers necessary for and contemporaneous with these purposes.
4.2 The launching of inboard and outboard motorboats engaging in any activity and parking of vehicles and trailers necessary for and contemporaneous with that purpose.
4.3 Trapping, hunting and parking of vehicles and boat trailers necessary for and contemporaneous with that purpose.
4.4 Launching of all non-motorized vessels not used for commercial purposes and parking of vehicles and boat trailers necessary for and contemporaneous with that purpose. Users shall launch from the designated non-motorized launch site, when such a site is identified.
4.5 ATV’s and snowmobiles when being used solely for the purposes of ice fishing.
4.6 Permitted special uses.

Sounds like local white trash sitting on the launch ramp .

One time I had this Karen come up behind and shove me while I was looking for a tool in my truck. She then told me I was lucky that she didn't "punch me in the face." Took a bunch of photos and videos of me riding and sent them to the HOA president(Scott Noble)... turns out she was best friends with him. A week later I got a $450 HOA fine for "reckless operation." I called him for an explanation and he refused to even show me the video of me riding. Gotta love the Karens.

Looks like maybe she's snapping a pic of that cool Godzilla sticker on the pole pad?
How's the old boat holding up?

I was cruising back to my launch area once and was like 3 blocks out from the shore and this fisherman that was sitting on a 5 gal. button stands up and acts like he's holding a rifle and follows me as I pass.. lmao :D

My group and I have had a few run ins with people at boat launches. Mostly drunkards. Nothing too serious and nothing involving fishy men. I have had many different boats come up to me after a freestyle session. I always think I am about to get yelled at but each time it has been people complementing me or asking about the ski. In Michigan we have it pretty good and I always try to be respectful of other lake users. I generally only ride a few 2 gallon tanks at my local lake on a given day. My ski is loud and I realize that. I really don't want to give any reason to have a law changed that would force me to stop riding a particular lake.

It's not my duty to appease anyone. For any reason at all. Christopher Gadsden would agree. If you don't like my jet ski noise. Go somewhere else. Plenty of things irritate the absolute hell out of me. Like barking dogs. Yet here I am. On planet earth. Existing.

The sad part of all this is that a twostroke with a tuned pipe can be made almost silent without losing any power. All these loud freestyle skis are that way because the owner "wants" it loud. It does show a lack of maturity. Fortunately jetskiers can never stick with the hobby very long and will eventually stop their uncivilized behavior.

Kevbro, you seem like a smart guy. You post a lot of stuff that is useful and informative. But, then you post comments like this that are just blatantly wrong.
