So then just leave the spark plugs out so the cylinders don't contain the moisture? There is no way to get all the water out of the waterbox so you are always going to have condensation in the exhaust and that goes directly into the cylinders.
Not sure...So then just leave the spark plugs out so the cylinders don't contain the moisture?
FYI I live in AZ, we don't have moisture or winter around here so I'm just taking guesses lol
Fogging oil coats the internals of the engine with oil so that moisture doesn't rust bearings/cylinders, etc. I fog through the carb and also directly in the cylinder, then put plugs back in.So then just leave the spark plugs out so the cylinders don't contain the moisture?

is it true that your spark plug need to be replace after
you are right there is always water left on the waterbox ,There is no way to get all the water out of the waterbox so you are always going to have condensation in the exhaust and that goes directly into the cylinders. Fogging is easy cheap insurance although few actually do it. I probably take it to the extreme but it helps me sleep at night.
The good old days........Anytime you run way more oil than a plug can burn, you run the risk of fouling plugs. I foul plugs once in a while on everything from my XS1200 to my 701s. I just stuff them in the bead blaster for 2 seconds and they are usually good as new. I just put 2 bead blasted ones in my xs1200 and it fixed the running on 1 cly prob. I would have used new but my glove box was empty of new
I think I had one of those old things floating around my chop shop in 1993 lol
