Don't be sad swapmeet, I'm sure you will find a BF (boy friend) soon. :p Just keep practicing with your "equipment" when you are alone and one day you will master it. As far as not having the balls, I'm sure there is surgery that can assist you with that. lol just playin man!

Nicely put M8 , I do both , and definetely big surf needs less money which mostly goes to tougher parts ....

very true Mike ...thought the race to getting better skis is endless ...hence the good deals from people selling to buy into better staff ...including me "Q8 carbon DASA 1000cc pv"....so that my upgrate will just cost me "a couple of toes and a finger"

nicely put ......been riding in competitions since the turn around of the sport about 10 years ago with names such as Lenzi and young Stone, been one of the very few to flatwater backflip back then, and when money never seemed to be enough to get more air , I kept my existing skis , and bought myself a couple of MX bikes and got involved in a sport where talent is 80 percent and equipment is 20

True all you need is reliable equipment with suspension set up and some good traction however it cost a lot more in the long run to race competitively (coming from 12+ years of AMA racing).

Exactly. I built my first flatwater hull and it was a rude awakening. I think I had convinced myself once I spent the money the hull would essentially flip itself :) The reality is that it takes huge balls and skill and I don't think I have either. I'm back to riding a POS SN and loving every minute of it. I can afford an expensive flatwater ski but it really isn't about how much money you spend, it's about being on the water and having fun. For me a superjet is more enjoyable.

I am not saying you dont need to have Goooo in you, that should be obvious..... I have been backflipping my wamilton ski since 2002 in the surf , my Lenzi on flat water since 2007 , and my YZ 250 6 months ago...so dont take me wrong when I say I know which of the 2 feats need Balls , and which one needs Thrust $$$$

I half tried to flatwater backflip my Superjet. It had an extended ride plate that never cleared the water. Lol

Fun !!!...very true Jace thats the spirit ....of course flatwater has become a high tech and innovative equipment game so if it is beyond play and you want to be on top you have to stash the $$$ ...it is not let us say like MX were Chad Reed races top level with a $20,000 bike against Villopotos $80,000 factory ride and still sticks to his back....and of course I dont believe your 1200RR cost you 50,000 US because you know someone who knows someone who knows Patrick who send you a kit for a good deal ...so can you be that friend of mine and set me up for one maybe so I could upgrate from my Q8 sky Dasa 1000 pv..... :))) would be hugely obliged

Get that Q8 Dasa sold first, then you won't be too far off from getting a dvx1200.
Mine will be for sale after the national tour is over
