you need to lap that thing until the anodizing is gone, prior to install.
looks like somethings been eating up the inner wall of that thing. my friend had a bolt from his stator come loose and do that to the inside of one.
just clean it up and replace the magnets.
What is all required to install new magnets?? Is that even possible??
That pic Dag put up is a jetinetics charging flywheel,if it was atotal loss flywheel you would see two small round magnets 180 degrees from each other.That other flywheel looks like ass,it would make a really nice paperweight.
call jetinetics and ask them for replacement magnets. I'm sure they're just epoxied in.
