Cameron Platforms Management security updates- page loads 'preparing for download'
10hrs later the same status (microsoft updates)
Got on VPN, uploaded 1 of 18(malicious software update)
and
Microsoft Forefront Client Security- checks for new definitions but comes up error code
0x8024402c which I can't find on their site
Uploaded via VPN
Machine passes the eye test but using proxy server in Venezuela, correct?

Can get w/ our IT Monday but curious, don't want to log into my banking stuff

Called helpdesk

Put AVG on there. It's free and will remove it with a scan.

I'd bet you were fine from conficker before.

Those symptoms you described were none of the symptoms I've seen/heard of on infected computers.
