They are talking about oil going to $40.00 a barrel. Thats great and all but, now no one wants to drill for oil in the U.S.

And dont think for a second why this isnt the precise reason why the sandy bastards and commodities traders overseas got the price back down,if we ever do drill our own oil,its going to KILL the economy andbalancing budgets strategists in all the sand lands that hate us anyway..........the sooner the better screw em all

It will go back up whenever the investors start buying up the future contracts again. Its sad that people can buy gas they are never going to use just to jack the price up for the rest of us and then sell it when they make enough money.

It was a $1.68 over by the house this morning. I heard some guys on the elevator today who just came back from an investors Energy conference. They were talking about how bleak the market was forecasted to remain for some time. (I work for a major oil company) You may see it drop further unless something really major happens to throw it off. People, companies, and countries don't have money for fuel. OPEC can try and drive it up. But like anything else, oil is only worth what people are willing to pay for it.

It was overvalued in the past couple of years, and now it's undervalued.
I'm liking it. I got only a 20 for gas today, but I bet it'll go a ways. :biggthumpup:

id like to see all the rich assholes in futures lose all their $ and get bankrupted for what they did the last 2 years.Regulation will be put back in place in this market to insure this doesnt happen again,one of the few failures of capitalism

It's 1.63 here in my little town, that means premium is 1.80ish. Too bad it is like 20 outside and snowing. I would love to be out burning up this cheap fuel in the ski, especially after paying over 4 dollars a gallon all summer.
