I just got dumped last week cause I have been riding all summer and blowing all my cash on the Dasa. It way better riding all day vs going out for a only a couple hours because she is tired or has a headache. I am sure I will regret it down the road, but time will tell. It has been nice to not hear the nagging about going out riding. Guys have to set the rules, I'm sticking with that motto. Probably wont get me very far though.

I see what you guys are saying. My passion is snowmobiling and I've never missed an opportunity to go because my girl "wanted to hang out". I have always put snowmobiling ahead of everything else. As far as the ski thing goes, I bought her a superjet for her birthday and started modding it out for my use. She loves it and often I am stuck riding my old 750. That plan kind of backfired.

you need to balance the two after all you cant take a jetski to bed

if you go for the day take her for a movie that night

my gf moaned when i first started but now she cool and pushes me to do it

riding and keeping your gf happy is as important as a well balanced set of carbs

I'm moved by DASA power!
I bought mine a ls2000 jet boat. Now every weekend we spend on the water. We are now moving in December to be closer to the water. As an added bonus the boat hauls our gas to the ride area and gives us somewhere to hang out when there aren't boats around. If stuff breaks on the boat, they are just jet ski motors, again no big deal. It's the best $ I've ever spent.

My ex always had something to say, about ANYTHING i would do with out her. It took a lot of the fun out of life, and caused a lot of stress and negativity. So i quit her cold Turkey.

My girl now loves that i have passion and supports my addiction. She has never once bitched about me doing what I want. So i built her a superjet. Now, honestly ( this might sound bad) i have more fun riding with her than anybody else.

Get her a cheap couch, getting her involved would probably solve the problem. As stated before, you gotta keep them both w€t!
And if you just plain want your free time and space, than lay the law!!

Sounds like you guys need to screen your potential gf's better. The ski ride time question should be bought out and asked before starting to hang out.............lol

Somehow l lucked out with my sweet wife.Been together for 30 years and we never have had any problems. She used to ride (kawi 650 sx) but her knee's crapped out.She normally brings it up to me about when l'm riding.Seriously you need to (like others have suggested) spend time doing the things she likes to do.And don't say a word, just go and do it.

Good luck bro

There are thousands of single women out there that will encourage you to follow your passions. I feel as long as you're putting in 'quality time' and compromising, there's nothing wrong with enjoying the things that you love to do.

When I go surfing and the girl wants to come to the beach with me, I think it's a cool thing. That is, as long as she's not waving her arms asking me to come in. When she starts pulling that crap, it doesn't sit well with me + I won't come in. Emergencies...don't count though.

I am a firm believer that you have to search very hard for someone that gels with you. Not just snatch up anyone and force a relationship just cause she's hot. We've all been there and it never works out.

When you have a good one, you'll never have these issues.
