Surfriding JetManiac, Tem and crew... How was the Spot today ?

Nice...one has to really ask for details about the spot because to my knowledge not one surf pic or video exist because the launch is secret and hidden...

Pretty sure I happened across the "spot" while down there on spring break 13 years ago. Was just looking for a place to launch my ski and found the "spot".

Although the hologram that is projected from slutty's house is almost as good as the real thing, I'm guessing that you rode the hologram.

You are prolly right because I heard slutty uses 2.21 gigawatts of power in the flux capacitor to generate the hologram and often times you can not tell if you were riding in the hologram or not...

Nobody got hurt...nobody sunk (real bad) .... a few tow-ins but they were mostly cause it was so much fun that a few of us rode ourselves out of gas.

Probably my last ride without a wetsuit this year. It's gettin' a bit chilly!

Awesome you guys had a nice mini freeride !

I was thinking the waves might be long lines from T.S Sean meandering out there...

It was mixed...groundswell & wind driven. Not EPIC, but big enough, not super glassy, but fun enough. A treat compared to recent surf. And it appears that it was a "one day window". Glad we hit it.

I can respect that, we have few secrets here on the West Coast. Glad you guys scored a good day

It's not really secret.... and even with changes in the area as far as beach driving, bird nesting, etc... it has remained pretty much the same.
Kayakers use it, fisherman use it, heck, some folks even bring their kids there to swim and picnic.
Lot's of couchers use it, but generally just launch and use the beach area across the inlet.
Idok makes a good point though, as far as google searches.
There's no "locals only" attitude....but it seems to be mostly locals, whatever recreation they are there for.

Great surf and ride crew yesterday! Burned about 3 tanks and can barely move today.

That was first surf ride for my new freak and it passed with flying colors.

It seems the Freaks with Blue motors like the waves!

Not a whole lot of air-tricks were goin' on.
A whole lot of wave carving/surf riding...very cool.

Saw Tem nearly tubed...(probably would have been if the waves were tubing)
Lots of vert drop ins...
Lots of great riding.
