Some 'finished' ski pics. Still needs chinpad and a few other things that I will probably never do....all I want to do is ride it now!!

I wish more people got to ride it at daytona. Hats off to Tem of Superfreak for the 'badass' hull design and Blue for the crazy (for a 760) powerful BB motor porting and build. I love this hull and motor setup!!!

Nick Barton from Krash got to ride it, maybe he will comment on the motor.

Yesterday was proof of concept for my new build!!!

I have been trying for several years and builds to build an all around ski that is good to ride for all conditions surf and flatwater without too many compromises.

This ski has mostly stock electrics with charging, stock 38mm carbs, and oem superjet fuel tank. It starts easily and runs on prem pump gas for about 2 hours of surf riding. If it is sunk, there isn't as much stress- sbt crank stock stroke crank and no expensive billet motor or stroker crank to worry about. It is a great handling ski all around.

Yesterday I blasted some small glassy daytona surf in the morning and then cruised over to Superwetbrett's new lake pad for a flatwater afternoon ride (sweet new pad and ride spot by the way).

I can flip this ski silly off almost any boat wake, but am still 'flatwater setup wake challenged' and can only occasionally get a sloppy plate to plate in. I had been dying to get lucas on it on flatwater to see what he could do. I knew it had the power, but was still shocked to see lucas even overrotating backflips and underflips off a setup wake!
No powerfactor pipe, no total loss, no cart tank, no power valves, etc. It almost looked like he was riding with a 1000cc! Hopefully some who were there will chime in.

Both Blue for porting magic and Tem for an amazing hull deserve so much credit for the success of this build. I am so sorry I did not make flatwater friday at daytona so more people could have tried it.

Holy phuckosis that thing hits! Hats off to all you guys down there for all the innovation and continual forward thinking. I am incredibly impressed! On a side note just got off the phone with Tem and my superfreak is getting crated up tomorrow!! Parts orders are getting put together as we speak.

Congrats on the build Chris!

this ski is sick and nothing was half assed, but also nothing was overkill like billet motor or stroker crank etc! Kids, this is how to build a ski....take note :)

Yeh that is a really nicely built ski im not surprised that Lucas was throwing underflips off his own wake on it, apart from him being a freak on flatwater, that 760 hits unbelievably hard after i rode it i had to pull the hood off and check i thought you were pulling my leg that it was a 760...... great job!!!

Wavedaze 'freshen up' update.

Finally changed and repaired a few things since daytona build. This ski puts a smile on my face every time I ride it, which doesn't seem to be as often as I would like anymore. Tem did such a great job on the badass hull design and Blue with the latest BB porting and motor build.

Ski was absolutely fanatastic at wavedayz after some carb richening for the colder conditions. Unfortunately, flatwater day didnt happen, I wanted people to get to try it out.

Looked great Chris! We just never get enough people interested for flatwater and it seems to never pan out.. It did like 2 years ago and was pretty fun tho. Wish I would have given it a test drive, def next time!

The superfreak inserts are strong, but I don't like the minimal surface area for the hooks to bear on when you tighten the bolts for strap hooks. I sanded and used grey epoxy putty to form pads much like the stock hull has.

I am really happy the the finished product. The putty is so easy to work with and it matches the carbon color well.

Used captured straps for the waterbox so they cant fall off in the back.

Did you add a block of epoxi or there's metal inside?
