My buddy gave me a complete stock SN hull, missing a carb, but had an ac racing handle pole and a top loader. Motor was frozen, so I decided to tear it down.

I first rockered the nose, and cut 3 1/2 off the back of the ski. I shaped and made tubbies. Put a front foothold in through the motor compartment. Cut the hood down. Moved the steering forward 6". Lowered and widened the tray. Molded adjustable footholds. Put together a nice motor. And more.

I cut a bunch of slices and pulled the nose up with wire and wedges. Then I pulled the sides back together by twisting up wire. Then re glassed it back togehter.

Made a mold of Stanton's Footrocket footholds. Then put a layer of carbon over the top. Then I cut out a rectangle where I expect it to mount and poured resin and microballoons into the side rail to make it solid. Then glassed that back in. This way I can move the footholds around after installation, and no way for water to get in.

Crazy build! Really nice work, pretty much what MCrider said, amazing what folks are doing with squares....

Is that the stock pole? Are you keeping it or changing to a RN pole?

I was curious about the pole as well. I have an AC pole on my square and curious about cutting it down. Sub'd!

This really makes me wanna start chopping on my 300.

Thank you for comments, It is an AC racing pole I thought about cutting it -3" for a while, but moving everything forward seemed better for the handling of the ski. I did make a custom bracket for it that lowers the profile where it mounts. I dont like the copper color, I think I am going to paint it orange tonight. That was the original plan.

In the last picture you can see the two burn marks where I tried at first to use heat to make the rocker, but I didn't want it to have a 3 stage rocker so I cut slices instead. I left the last 1" atached so that i would bend but still stay together.
