I have ridden one with a wet pipe years ago. The owner was having a hard time getting it tuned perfect, it pulled hard from the mid-range up but felt similar to a stock motor with a pipe down low.

wetpipe = bigbore kit.

Actually, I think the pipe hits a little harder. A pipe and light flywheel crushes the big bore kit. The kit is meant to be used with a stock pipe only.

I've got the 849 on mine. I had to add a light flywheel and a pipe and a head to really wake it up.

I already have the head ,pipe and total loss fw :). Are you running any timing advance? Would it be ok to just jump the air temp sensor with all the 3 mods?also do you have jetting specs for stock carb with all ^ that mods?

thanks shonuff

I'm running BlackJack'd stockers from JetWorks. I'm not running the timing advance as JSS told me not to. My jetting is 80/150 2.3 N&S with 95g spring (I think).

Art bores them out, changes fuel delivery a little, and changes the bombsight to just a centered thin-tube atomizer fuel rod. There may be more. I'm putting NOVI 48's on my ski and will be selling mine here shortly.

I'm running 93/110 mix with Benol at 50:1 with 225psi. I'm thinking of just saying screw it and returning to my 240psi domes to see what happens. I also included pics of my Blackjacked carbs. (Mental note: change the date on my camera)

No problemo. They come brand new at about 170 psi (because Kawasaki is way better than Yamaha).
