I believe the RAD aluminum charging flywheel weighs around 2.5 lbs and when compare to a lightened 61X at 2.94lbs there's only 0.44-lbs in difference.

Aluminum flywheels are more than five times the price of a lightened stocker and are more prone to failure with cracking hubs, spinning ring gears, vibrating loose and weaker magnets that through the timing off or don't charge the battery well.

So A 61x flywheel will NOT fit the 62T??? If so why not? Different hub? Diameter??

The 61X flywheel uses a smaller diameter stator assembly and it's only compatible with the 6m6 & 61X CDI's electronics.

The 62T flywheel has stronger magnets and uses a larger diameter stator with an improved charge coil that's only compatible with the 62T CDI's electronics.

It will if you change the starter too
Stator & CDI not the starter.

Can you lighten kawi 750 flywheels?
Yep... same price for the 650, 750 and 800.

I have an older 750 lightened flywheel in stock.

Mine came in today. Real nice work on it. Even aside from the surfaces machined the rest of the flywheel looks mint as well. Nice job shipping it too. Thanks

theres no such thing as a 61T 96 superjet should have a 62T block with dual carbs and a 61X cylinder, which uses a 62T stator CDI and flywheel.

Prices are in the first post.
