That milky deposit in the carbs is a result of a couple of things....
1-The inherent design of the 2 stroke motor has a little "spit back" out of the carburetor"s" in normal operation anyway.
2-The added relative humidity while riding on the water provides another major factor for the buildup. You can have NO leaks in your hull, and a perfect hood seal & still get the dreaded build up.
3-Then there's the "heat sink", those thick aluminum flame arrestor adapters that the stock carbs don't have.
4-Last, the added evaporation of the extra 10% of alcohol that's in our fuel. (Top Alcohol dragsters don't have cooling systems, they rely on the evaporative cooling effect of the alcohol to do that job).
The bottom line.....As the motor is running, spitting back the fuel & oil mixture, it's absorbing moisture, then condensing and sticking to the inside inlet of the carbs & flame arrestors...leaving a deposit there just like your favorite salad dressing.
