I’m probably gonna run klotz skicraft in my new Krash foot rocket. And my other vintage skis. Can you really smell the oil when riding all day. I know I can on my dirtbike. Because obviously smell makes power!
Yeah, can you smell it while your riding all day?It smells like Klotz, sorta cherry-ish.
I have a rear exhaustYeah, can you smell it while your riding all day?
Klotz skicraft is tcw3. I don’t wanna cheap out on oil in a 15k ski
Have you used this on a ski before?
Been using Quicksilver tcw3 for 25 years, cheaper than Klotz and performs the same function asvwell in my experience. YMMVKlotz skicraft is tcw3. I don’t wanna cheap out on oil in a 15k ski
Thanks y’all. I do run Amsoil in everything else I own, so I was wondering if Amsoil hp marine would be safe to use in a high performance jetski? It’s either Amsoil or klotz for me
This. You can only smell it the first couple of times you ride. Once you get used to it, you will hardly notice.
Would it be fine for a ski with power valves?Yes, HP Marine is an excellent oil.
Couldn't find the bucket on fleabayIf you run klotz in your ski and bike just get the 5gal bucket of snowmobile TCW3 off eBay. Its all the same stuff from Klotz (ski, bike and snowmobile TCW3). I got a 1oz pump and it's super quick to throw in a Quick Mix style premix mixer. I've burned through half this summer alone!
