haha, wow, this has escalated quickly.
I'm envisioning people with pitchforks outside of Krash saying "New hull! New hull! New hull! or Refund! Refund! Refund!"

It tickles me so many people feel like I should get a new hull or a refund, thanks for your support guys! I'm not one to poop on people for no reason and I want to make this documentation as fair as possible. My butthurt does interfere a bit, but hey, I'm only human.

So...I am actually completely blown away right now. I just got home from work and Krash has offered to take the hull back as a stage 1 kit for a full refund, shipping and all.

I'm talking to the owner of the Rickter XFS 1100 DASA ski to see if he is interested in what I have to offer. I've ridden it and got probably 70% of the way around for a backflip on my first ride lmao. And the footholds were set up for a 300lb dude so I was scared AF that my feet were going to fly out...

I never thought they would take the hull back. I'm really floored they would offer that. +a bunch to Krash for nutting up, not sure how many manufacturers would respond like that or ever. I even sent a message saying I wasn't ready to give up totally on this ski this morning when hadn't received a repy and that I wanted to try a new hood first. The next reply was offering to take back the ski.

Honestly not sure how to send it back, I'll have to see how the ProForce's crate has faired in the weather.

Tigercraft fvpro from @ridetrp It will be like assembling a superjet on a Sunday afternoon. No beer required

That's awesome, they quit talking to me after a while
If the Rickter XFS doesn't go through I feel like the world is my oyster. Tigercraft and Xscream are in my radar. I love racing and would love to break into freestyle competition. In my early dreams I wanted to bring the Krash and compete in amateur freestyle in Havasu after I raced in World Finals, but so many things killed that dream.

Glad they took it back, hope you get all your money out of it or close to 100% as you possibly can. Your thread came at a good time, company had to fix their mistakes to introduce a new product and couldn't afford to piss away any possible customers. Hope that is a turn for the better for them and no more of these cases. If they sell that hull for 1/3rd the price i'd take it off of your hands and fix it lol. Good luck on future ski!

I'm looking into the crate status this weekend, but I think it might be damaged since it sat outside.

I replied to Chris's offer for Krash to take the hull back, after talking details of shipping the hull back, I said - as much as some people think so, I don't think this hull is a lost cause. With a little more work - a new hood, or have the old one repaired and a new, better hood seal - I think it would be riding. But the reason I wanted to get out from under it is always wondering "what is going to bite me next?" and "why have I had to deal with these issues in the first place?"

I love how it rides and still stand by that. And I tell people that all the time, so easy to ride. I hate that it has come to this, it is a waste of my time, Chris/Nick's time and Krash's resources. Nobody really wins.

The nitty gritty of it all is if I do ship it back then I'm sitting on an engine and a pump with no hull right as the season starts. That doesn't excite me much and with $7k in my pocket that doesn't give me a huge amount of buying power. If I sold it as a running ski then that would give me more buying power, but the actuality of someone buying it was slim. I did have more tire kickers than I thought. If it didn't sell it then I had a project on my hands, but something ridable for now. I have to look at long run/short run.

What a soap opera. I just want to ride something good and have fun lol.

Have you considered sending your parts to a shop and letting them build your new ski? Thrust? Taylor Curtis? Blowsion? Xscream? There are a few options at any of those. I personally know Brian at Thrust is a good guy. I have never heard anything bad about a Taylor Curtis build. Something to think about and at least worth a phone call to discuss options.

Not really, I'm kind of a DIY person and the cost of someone building always made me shy away from the idea. But these days I might not be so adverse to the idea...

Me too. But you are so frustrated and time is short. Something to consider. Good luck. I feel your pain. I have been rebuilding a ski nonstop for 3 months now. It gets old really fast when everyone else is riding and you can't.

Send you parts to tony @ridetrp and have him build you a tigercraft. When you buy a new hull I think you get offered an discount on an aura handlepole as well. Tony has realistic timelines that aren't a far fetched story. You can work with agx designs or racuwerx and make it turkey your own ski with the graphics. I know know how far @N3vrSat1sfied or @Jyzmbe are from you but they have a nice bot and a fv1 you could try. I think their are people in Texas around you that have tigers you could ride. Even though I promise you will just be bolting parts together. Besides aligning the pump and the motor it's pretty much like building a kawi lol. After like day1 hour 7 you'll look at your husband and say "welp I think we have to go ride it now?"
