Surely you have more puddles around there, $25 is crazy, not like they have to pre the water...
No, we have lake Conroe and they are huge throbbing dicks there. Got pulled over by a cop on my dad's sit downs for going too fast in the no wake zone. We were at idle...I mean they are both supercharged skis, but c'mon lol IDLE. Dude was a total chode. My father is a K9 police officer btw and he was sitting there silent just laughing inside.

A couple other stand up jet skiiers were tickted for being within 50 feet of each other while moving.

The dude with the Rickter was practicing backflips and was pulled over and told to remove his ski from the water to inspect the HIN.

Between a $300 ticket and $25 a day I'll pay it to be able to have a private buoy course that stays there, doesn't have to be set up each time. We can eat, drink, tube/wakeboard behind a stand up and even go mx for those who have bikes. It is also 10 minutes from the apartment. Yeah, it rocks.

We live 5 minutes from the lake and I would pay 26$ per day to go somewhere and not get f@cked with by the fish and wildlife officer dick head who likes to ruin our days at the boat launch.

Which is mainly why we stick to the surf and stay away from the flat
My sentiments exactly. The lake is free, or $5 to launch from a nicer ramp, but we haven't been there to really ride in a year or so.

Once we got the private buoy course a year ago my stand up skill increased 10 fold. Only way I was able to go to World Finals and get in top 10 after just 4 months between then and my first race in my life.

It sucks that our only option is $25 a day or else suffer the cops or cancer in the other river/lake system that got contaminated. But it is really nice to focus on only jet skis and not politics, rules and drunk couch riders/boaters.

No many people who would pay $25 every weekend just to get on the water, but this sport is important to me. Krash fkd up losing my trust. I was going to bring this ski and bloop around in AM freestyle for poops and grins. Think about all the good advertising that would have been. But nope...

Feel bad for you guys that get f'ed with by the water cops. The FWC here is pretty cool here. They see an old guy on a standup and they just don't mess with me. We just wave and they move on.

Anyway, been watching this thread and glad they are making things right. Good luck you you.

Oh we know it is nice, that is why we continue to pay. But it still puts it in perspective when the majority of people people can shred for free and some still complain. Not all of us have that luxury. When I rode MX is was the same $25 and I was happy to pay. Gotta pay to play.

Edit, the coast is about 1.5hrs from me too and it is uggy Gulf water with wee waves. Still want to try it though. Who knows, I could be the next big freeride btch. Or my ski could sink...two far fetched yet plausible outcomes hah.

I drive 18 hours for surf.....but also only 15 mins for the lake. we have to buy a pass for $70 a year. rarely do we have any issues with rangers.

Ashley, are you going to the race in Tulsa?

If only you had came to lsfr this year. Surf was 6-12 foot all weekend. Would have been a challenge for a new surf rider, that's for sure.
I saw pics, looked gnarly. Clayton was out there getting thrown off his superjet which was pretty funny.

I am planning on it, but only Sunday. Thats the last chance to race before WF. Wanted to go the the Pro Watercross event in Dallas, but got boned by work that weekend.

I might be there, but only to hang out. I will have my Krash with me and if you want to ride it, you are more than welcome to. lol

Chris has always been responsive to my questions via PM, no complaints there. They are dragging their feet on answering the questions I had about shipping the hull back though. Still no reply, but it is the weekend.

Since we had jack crap going on today since it was Mother's Day, Krash hasn't replied to my message, I said fk it and ripped the ineffective hood seal out. They didn't offer to replace the hood, just went straight to refunding the hull. If I keep it I think I'd be SOL there.

So for curiosity's sake I wanted to see how low the hood would sit in the trench without a seal. Not very, but it did dip below the edge. I cleaned the trench up and put silicone in it. Hood silicone is currently drying and I'll check in the morning *shrugs*

Must be another low spot, you can see the water accumulated under the seal.

If they are taking ski back why do you keep messing with it ? Tearing hood seal out and sanding etc ! All that will just make it worse

Because I'm curious if the hull was actually warped or just the hood that is why. Factors in my decision to keep it or not.

Krash will take it back, this is a great opportunity for me and I keep reiterating how awesome it is about Krash.

But the reality is I don't have the resources to build another hull right now. Medical bills, family bs, work bs...you all are adults and know the drill. And it will only get worse in the future. I'd rather sell this hull as a whole package than part it out.

I waited a fkn year, and now when I have something that might be ridable with more elbow grease I just take my time that I don't have to take it apart? That means trailering it down to a real workshop, removing the pump shoe (so not looking forward to that) and all my fittings, etc etc etc. Building a crate out of the remnants of the ProForce's, meeting with the freight company, hoping like hell it doesn't get damaged in shipping like it did coming to me. Etc....

Bitch bitch bitch...
When I started this recent hood nonsense I just asked Krash for a new hood so I could work with the best sealing surface. The next message was to take back the hull.

I'll admit, at first I was ready to just be done and move on to a new hull or that Rickter. But as I've said, reality set in and logistics just didn't add up. Ricker owner didn't want to deal and hulls are more than what I would get for the Krash.

I don't know what I want to do. These are a large part of our lives, but still a luxury. I have a lot going on in the background that doesn't get posted in forums and social media that I need to figure out. This decision might just have to wait. If that kills my deal with Krash then so be it, I try to be understanding.
