I have yet to be able to work on mine again, but already had to buy shims and a Cold Fusion pump alignment tool to try and fix my rubbing pump.
Not even sure if it will fix it, but a buyer shouldn't have to do that. I'm not complaining a ton because shims and the CF tool are things that can and will be used again for other projects.
But still...no need on a starter kit that is supposed to come ready to go.
That could have been caught before shipping out. I also haven't received my new chinpad, but if it is coming slowboat from the factory it may take a while. I need to send Chris another PM to see how it was shipped from over there.
Chris was always prompt, even after work hours, during the buying process. He is also great at customer service and I always told him I appreciated that. Just hate to see how poopty the shipping is, the pump issues, people stripping stuff, longevity issues, etc etc.
I will probably love how the 50Cal rides, but if i did it again with the knowledge I have now I would have been more patient and just purchased a hull. Starter kit is not for the seasond builder. Called a starter kit for a reason and I think it will reasonably get a freestyle newbie like me on the water for long enough to figure out what I like and what I don't.
All part of the process of learning I suppose.
