Krash Industries Starter Kits

I have yet to be able to work on mine again, but already had to buy shims and a Cold Fusion pump alignment tool to try and fix my rubbing pump.

Not even sure if it will fix it, but a buyer shouldn't have to do that. I'm not complaining a ton because shims and the CF tool are things that can and will be used again for other projects.

But still...no need on a starter kit that is supposed to come ready to go.
That could have been caught before shipping out. I also haven't received my new chinpad, but if it is coming slowboat from the factory it may take a while. I need to send Chris another PM to see how it was shipped from over there.

Chris was always prompt, even after work hours, during the buying process. He is also great at customer service and I always told him I appreciated that. Just hate to see how poopty the shipping is, the pump issues, people stripping stuff, longevity issues, etc etc.

I will probably love how the 50Cal rides, but if i did it again with the knowledge I have now I would have been more patient and just purchased a hull. Starter kit is not for the seasond builder. Called a starter kit for a reason and I think it will reasonably get a freestyle newbie like me on the water for long enough to figure out what I like and what I don't.

All part of the process of learning I suppose.

Yeah starter kit was made to be easy and cheap. Crazy how many problems there are with it. We I saw the prices, I was shocked and told a few friends that's a good way to go. But after seeing what people are getting.... yeah no thanks.
The hulls are cool and look cool, but they aren't that cheap either. If you ever saw yamirider's build, you would see the little things even with the hull. Hood didn't even fit.
That aura pole is the best for the price! Hell probably just the best period. I loved mine, not a single problem.
Hopefully with all the reviews going around, the quality will go up. Let's face it, cool hulls and people love how they ride, just not so much on putting them together for the first time.

Let us know what kind of bushing you end up using, im sure most people will want to fix this right off.

Went to Homer Ville

$.38 cents
2 nylon bushings
5 Minutes later I was finished.

X2mafia you have the same pump setup and could of done the same 5 minute fix. Just saying.

I already fixed it you knuckle head lol used delrin and made my own bushings. And it didn't take 5 minutes maybe took 7. But I'm happy you fixed yours before the inevitable happened. You totally missing the point here. We should have to do this stuff

Putting my 50cal together and I'm glad I read this review maybe a little late!! Overall I'm happy with my decision and will keep my fingers crossed! Attempting to fix one problem that was brought up! I used OEM raider tubes to fill In the gap hopefully preventing less water from getting in!

I will post other input and opinions as my build progresses! I have to second the fact that it was really easy to deal with nick and Chris! I called text and messaged them during the buying proses at all times of the day! They were both quick to respond to questions and resolve any Issuse I had!

I purchased a stage 1 50cal and although had some issues come up it was nothing that made me say this is crap. The graphics, clear coat are very "delicate" but the problems we are all running into are the reasons it costs so much to buy a pre built and assembled hull. This ski rides so great your dumb not to want one. Some kids make the pirate ship on the Lego box perfectly and some kids have a few too many extra Legos left at the end.

Had to make room for my CF tank and mounting additional Hood straps! Love this post I can fix all the problems with my ski before I ride it! Good luck to those that buy the KV999!

10 month review on my 50Cal Stage 2

I have nose stabbed, Lawn Darted big time, big bails, flat landed and my ski is still solid as a Rock! Sure there are some issues but what ski doesn't have them when you ride in the surf and saltwater all the time.

BTW the ski rides awesome....slides when you want but will slash a lip just as hard as physically possible for you to preform. Probaly one of the most stable skis out there considereding how well it performs.

Below are pics of my nose.
Most AM hulls would be in shambles with this kind of beating. This is the stock glass job.
