Please tell us more of your ride experience! Kv motor? Which map? Which ski(s)? How comfy are the holds? Flat water?

Hulls are all available now, some minor changes made to accommodate the KV motor but will ride the same, holds are all about preference IMO, but they are solid, adjustable and will work fine for most.

The flat water 50 Cal is being flipped by a local in OZ with a piped 701, its on Facebook and Ill try and find it for you, so if you have the skill the KV997 will get you around.

The motor works well, maps will help the transition for someone coming from 701 based skis, the big hit can be toned down for rough days too.

Some have said why re invent the wheel, but by doing by it this way Krash hasn't had to compromise due to existing design limitations on what's currently available, they have some real innovation here and are not just reproducing existing parts with a polish job.

There have been delays, yes...
The people with paid orders are aware of this I'm told and seem ok with it?
I'm not sure why the hate, if you have a question, you can call Nick or Chris.

Quality control has been the reason, absolutely, as when you send back several hundred parts it takes time to re stock.
Huge quantity of replacement parts, huge, cant see this as an issue.....

FYI, I don't work for Krash and I happily build skis and motors from all manufactures (some of who also like me too ;-) but I'm happy to have had some input into what Nick and Krash have done and will put my hand up to test stuff or have a chat about ideas any time he rings or texts me, maybe riding some KV997's tomorrow, weather dependent & I may take some pix (may not)

Here is a 'production line' spy shot...(crap pic I know)
Probably double that on the other side without assembly, and working flat out to keep up they tell me.

5 skis ordered?
No....

Link, we both have been around a long time. Remember you from one of the early sites, may have been the old RIVA Forum or Jetski.com if that was the name! I think alot of the issues is the shear fact of lack of info unless you have already pre-ordered. But when any company announces something new and then gives dates. And those dates come and go. Then it is human nature for people to become skeptical. In that pic I could count 22 hulls give or take. You state probably double on other side. So 22 or 44 more. That really does not mean much since they have been selling hulls for a few years. 75% of those could be just hulls that are hull orders only. That number does not really tell much. It would have been much better for Chris or someone to pop in and just give updates. This community (not referring to this site) is very small. Best thing (just my opinion) would have been to to keep under wraps until it was closer to ready to release. But, this is a small community. It would have gotten out. So, next thing would have been to give better updates. We all get it that things happen. Most would rather wait for it to be right than to have to deal with sub par quality that should not have been released.

Just a comment from me who is the smallest peanut in this whole frickin' gallery: It looks like product beta testing to me.

Better to do a release to a small number of people to ride it hard, to know what breaks and redesign it before you release it to every purchaser who put their deposit down.

The manufacturer hasn't released the engine or the ski to the public yet, right?

Why isn't that considered a good thing?

Why isn't that considered a sign of quality CONTROL.

He could have tested his product using his full-price buyers as unsuspecting beta testers (not every defect will be apparent immediately so this is somewhat inevitable), but he didn't, right?

Personally, I appreciate that the Ozzie is not releasing his stuff till it's done right.

Ya know what , I really don't care what Zack Bright says.... I'm not a fan of him. I wouldn't take my ski to his shop if Krash Paid the bill for it .
