Man how I wish Krash would give us an update. I want to put a deposit down, but can't bring myself to do it not knowing if I'll ever get the thing.

If you haven't noticed this isn't a big industry. Sorry but if I was in there shoes an email back is probably the last thing you'd get. Honestly wtf is 500 dollars on a jetski that may or may not be lightyears ahead of what the general public can or cannot afford. J boogie radio spent more than that on fireball shots last wavedaze. Anyway. The price of this ski attracts I don't know how to say it, we'll call it a rare breed of riders that think they're entitled to all this service, performance and reliability. People have paid 20k from other companies for a Rickter with a 701. I used to have a sdg and then got a klx. Same thing applies here.

So according to Chris there may be RTP Krash skis with KV setups available to see and possibly even test drive at Daytona 2018 next month. If the skis ARE there, thats going to be some big exposure. If not then... Vaporware?

It’s pretty simple pay the deposit and wait or ask for a refund and get something else. If you have an issue with $500 what are u gonna do when u gotta fork out the rest

Don't want to wade into a hornet's nest here, but it is not that simple. Some guys put deposits, were given delivery dates, and then sold their existing ski to help fund the new ski. Many broken promises later, they still have no ski and have missed a whole season of riding waiting. Their anger is understandable and it doesn't make them haters. They want Krash to succeed and deliver what they signed up for....

That’s exactly what I meant by my response. Everyone acts like “oh it’s only $500”. Well, yeah true, but it’s also that I may miss a whole riding season waiting for it when I could have built a ski myself. I want Krash to succeed, especially with what they are offering for $12k.

The 500 dollars doesn’t bother me its what I had to do to get the rest of the money so that I was ready by the time frame that I was told and then to find out that the time frame isn’t even close. I want krash to succeed and I hope nothing but the best for them. I just wanna make sure I have a ski by riding season or I prob would of went a dif route and still might go a dif route So that I have a ski for June especially now that I have all this cash lieing around

All great points guys. I guess I’m not to worried cause I already have a 50cal I can ride while I wait for my reaper. All I can say is any issues I’ve had with my ski being large or small Chris and Nick have gone above and beyond to fix the issues and make sure I’m happy. I know these rtp skis are worth the wait. They have won me over.

Something new - not sure if this was posted already - but www.kraskindustries.com has some microfiche and parts catalogs for their RTP skis. The parts selection lists remind me of partzilla - searching for OEM parts. Looks pretty cool.

Pretty awesome looks like they are getting there I can’t imagine what’s involved to get all these kinds of things organized. I’d like to see the haters grab the round ones to try and do something like what they are attempting.

The images for the kv crank are there, but the crankcase pictures are not posted. I did see this though under exhaust1. The ports on the exhaust header are trapezoids instead of squared. Also looks like they're using an oring for the headpipe.

On the crank picture I see something different. Theres a pair of center seals directly in the MIDDLE of the crank. I guess the two chambers are completely isolated front to rear? How on earth would you rebuild the center seal on this crank? #10 in the image (There are 2x #10s)

Also the crank seems to be using SKF bearings (Italy)

This was mentioned back around August/September in this thread when the picture first showed up. Apparently it isn't the first time this has been done. I think they said some sea doos or other engines are like this.
