Surfriding Krashing into a 50 Cal... Stage 2!

Every little bit helps! A guy we ride with filled a Krash Predator (drive shaft bearing failed ) up 2 weeks ago with water and the tail barley bobed.

Sorry to go OT. It bobed about 20-30 mins. That's about how long it took to get towed to shore. One guy we ride with wears a short tow rope wraped around his waist so as soon as it went down it was being towed in. I can say the entire time it was being towed it was completely full of water including about 2 gallons of sea water that got into the gas tank. His bilge pumped failed as well, he just checked it before going out. If no one would of had a tow rope it probably would of stayed just below the surface of the water IMO.

thanks i always get water in from the cheep stock scupper time to upgrade !was wondering about if it would sink!

I am thinking of just sealing up the scupper in my new 50 cal when I get it. IMO the bilge pump would save you in most situations. A scupper is just another way for water to come in but that's just me. I always watch my bilge fitting for water and when I fall off ( Big Ass Dismount lol ) on my current ski I can here the bilge pump running before I get back on.

Look what came in the mail!

Very nice! How much adjustment do you think you have with the length of the pole? Not a lot of things beat putting together a $12k toy yourself!

Had some trouble with the pump shoe. somehow the helicoils stuck to the bolt and chewed out the threading in the shoe. I showed chris a few pics of it and he immediately sent me a new pump shoe and bolts so im still a happy customer :)
