kawasakis suck
As I told slowjet, the baby is due around then, but hopefully I could make the 2 hour drive for a day ride. That's the weekend world finals usually falls on, right?

I'll be there, the 5th is my burrfday so get me drunk and take advantage of me! lol...

Allatoona Landing is a full RV park along with tent camping. I think you can even rent a cabin. Camping isn't your only option...

Another cool thing is "Ahoy Marine" a family owned boat repair shop at Allatoona Landing. They work on the big cruisers so maybe they can hook us up with a big boat owner to come throw down some wake all day for us if we chip in for gas money or something that day. The owner & his son have stand ups and come ride with us and have helped me in a pinch, I'll ask them and see what they say.

There is also another campsite called MicKinney Campround literally right across the lake but no drinky there (part of core of engineers)

Ok this is going to be a fun ride. With the help from the riders on the X we can make this weekend, one to remember. This is a great location, I also camped here last year on these same dates and we all made an awesome time out of it. This needs to be your fall vacation. For those of you that have not been to Allatoona Landing you can lock your skis up in a 24hr, gated, monitored lot. They have 30 and 50 amp receptacles, some sites have full hook-up and mobile pump off. They have 116 camp sites(SURELY WE CAN BOOK THIS UP), boat ramp, laundry room, clean bath houses, and they also have modular units for those of you that don't want to pitch a tent or pull a camper.

Book your site now!

This place is 4.7 miles from a Walmart, and all kinds of great restaurants!

Slowjet and I are going to go down there this weekend and take some pictures so you know what your getting yourselves into! The water is down right now, but the other stuff we can shoot some pics.

i want this setup for a lake camping ride. is this still considered tenting? and how far are the cabins from the camp sites. i would like to be close to everyone, but if a cabin is cheep enough and close im sure susan wouldnt mind that.

edit: cabin is only $208 says sleeps 4. could split that and cheaper then camping, but no pets in cabins.
tent site was almost $70 for the three days.

I just checked the map in post 1. Looks like most of the cabins are near the entrance but the is one phantom cabing near the bottom of the campground near the water. Looks like number 7c.
