i dont get why he chose to ride a new hull without prior testing at the daytona 500 of jetski comps? didnt he have all season or at least a few months to try this new awesome hull?

Eme is here in the states, stone lives in Australia. So no, eme was supposed to have him a ski ready to run, not start testing when he got to havasu. Sucks for Lee, couldn't even attempt to defend his title, then his sponsor throws him under the bus.

well i understand that but you wouldnt expect stewart to show up at anaheim1 on a bike that was "ready" theres always something that has to be adjusted, just the wrong place wrong time i guess and it is a shame

Lee drove in from Vegas the Wednesday evening before the weekend with me, which I thought was not enough time -- I do understand he is working in a special show at Sea World in Salt Water and this limited his abilty to train for worlds and get use to the ski. Last year I remember he came out and trained with Eric Malone 2 weeks prior to world finals weekend.

Regardless of what happened, Malone threw his rider under the bus to cover his a55. Who has more to lose, stone or eme? Stone only has to lose defending his title, eme has there reputation. Sucks that it's that cut throat, an idk if people will be jumping in line to ride for him after this. I sure as hell wouldn't.

Last years hull was the new Q8 Sky hull, so yes it was new and never tested. I will tell you that riders of Lee and eric's level can adapt pretty quick, but 2 days is prolly not enough time -- everyone was concerned about this time line.

I understand your point, but let's come back at the begin as a business mindset.

Its not too short to test-ride a boat only 2 weeks before a major events ?? cant imagine 2 days ?? why Malone did not tested it himself ???

No back up ski??
